A great song from a great artist! Why don't you say the song title? The song is "American Way." it is from the album "Wires From the Bunker." Rest In Peace John Stewart.
@@jstewart3476 You're welcome! Please share some of your thoughts on John Stewart. I like your username. I am a major John Stewart fan and collector and met him backstage in 1980 when I was 15. I told him I have been a fan of him for a long time. He looked gratefully bewildered. He wrote "To Bob Bombs Away John Stew." I am sure that anyone who is a fan of the "Fire In The Wind" / "Bombs Away Dream Babies" / "Dream Babies Go Hollywood" / "Blondes" period will love "Wires From The Bunker."
There is a much better acoustic version on another album, I can't remember which one offhand but I don't think it's wires from the bunker cos I don't think I have that one. Any post concerning The big guy is wonderful though. Thanks.
@@nortyrascal1 Yes. Thank you. I bought "Trancas" on vinyl when it came out. I have all his earlier albums on CD and vinyl. I was recently told "Trancas" is unavailable on CD.
A TREASURE!! ( to find this gem LIVE!!)
Nice to see this. Thank you

The acoustic version (which is a lot slower) is on the 1984 album "Trancas" - both are completely different versions.
@@nortyrascal1 Yes, The Trancas version is a slow, sublime version. Love it.
