The same thing happened to those who should have qualified for unemployment but they had do appeals. And people who didn't work, they were able to get it with no problems. It took me over a year to get after appeals and disputing and calling endless of times, and right when I was about to give up the customer rep told me not to cause she seen I should have been approved from jump.

Did you want to use the SBA to obtain a business loan or PPP funds to start your company? FYI, the latter would be considered fraud, however the SBA does allow applications for legitimate loans.

When I looked up the consequences of PPP loan fraud, it was a maximum sentence of 30 years in prison and a maximum of a $1 million fine plus restitution.
If you get a ppp loan by mistake you need to own up to it. Itll get worse for you if you buy a bunch of stuff and try to hide it. You'll go to prison just saying.

I live in Florida where it’s at an all time high. I got a credit alert someone applied for a loan with my name, an old address and my birthday. I believe they also had my ssn. The loan was denied but I saw the inquiry on my credit report. I immediately called SBA and they put a flag on my name and SSN. I also placed a fraud flag with the credit agencies. What else should I do? I’m so nervous that someone has all of my information.
Maybe get something that alerts you like credit karma. Someone stole my identity in the past and tried to file an income tax return. I receive a pin number every year from the IRS in order for me to file my taxes. It's definitely scary, but if you lock everything down for your approval only, you should be alright

I believe my son and his girlfriend stole 20,000 in government money by doing this. For the last few days they've been shopping and renting a vehicle and neither of them work. Strange mail has been coming to my home for the girlfriend and some "business" name in which I know for a fact that she doesn't even own any business of any kind as well as some random mail with someone's name on it who doesn't even live at my address. When I secretly googled the address which had some California address on it and I live in Iowa, the address came back from Zillow realtor site as being a house that nobody even lives in.

If you has a legit business then nothing was wrong with that. I did Uber Eats as a sole proprietor and am still waiting on a response. I had to stop when the pandemic hit. Not sure how these people are getting these loans so easily when I had to go through Blood Sweat and Tears and still waiting for a response

I have seen several RUclipss receive PPP loans. You'll have to ask yourself "Why?" - it is not like they have lost anything, they still make videos and people still watch them. And since a lot of people has been forced to stay home, their videos are even being watched more than before Covid.

PPP stands for Payroll Protection Program. The loan documents clearly state that you CAN NOT use any of the funds for Capital Expenses.

I live in Florida where it’s at an all time high. I got a credit alert someone applied for a loan with my name, an old address and my birthday. I believe they also had my ssn. The loan was denied but I saw the inquiry on my credit report. I immediately called SBA and they put a flag on my name and SSN. I also placed a fraud flag with the credit agencies. What else should I do? I’m so nervous that someone has all of my information.
Maybe get something that alerts you like credit karma. Someone stole my identity in the past and tried to file an income tax return. I receive a pin number every year from the IRS in order for me to file my taxes. It's definitely scary, but if you lock everything down for your approval only, you should be alright

I believe my son and his girlfriend stole 20,000 in government money by doing this. For the last few days they've been shopping and renting a vehicle and neither of them work. Strange mail has been coming to my home for the girlfriend and some "business" name in which I know for a fact that she doesn't even own any business of any kind as well as some random mail with someone's name on it who doesn't even live at my address. When I secretly googled the address which had some California address on it and I live in Iowa, the address came back from Zillow realtor site as being a house that nobody even lives in.

If you has a legit business then nothing was wrong with that. I did Uber Eats as a sole proprietor and am still waiting on a response. I had to stop when the pandemic hit. Not sure how these people are getting these loans so easily when I had to go through Blood Sweat and Tears and still waiting for a response
