Eifel Rallye Festival 2023 - Walk through the service area before shakedown (raw footage)

- We're back at the Eifel for the 11th edition of Eifel Rallye Festival. The weather is a little different compared to last year, but we went to Daun anyway to take a look to the cars in the service area, before they take the start of the shakedown, at 15h this afternoon (Thursday).
As last year, I will film 2 complete stages on Friday (SS Hochkelberg, was a Saturday stage last year but is now driven twice on Friday this year, instead of 2 separate stages that are driven only once), and also 2 stages on Saturday (probably the second one of the first loop, and the 3rd (last) one of the second loop).

Am 2mins into video and have goose bumps. Reminds me of 2 visits I made to the Eifel Rallye in Daun, before I got married(!). Would like to go again, as in my opinion, is THE best classic rallye festival, PERIOD. The rules in regard to entries must be strict to properly reflect the era's represented. My hat goes off to the enthusiasts. Sure they've got plenty of money, but without all of them (organisers, drivers and support crews), the Eifel Rallye would not be as it is today. Occasionally you see something different that might not of been there the year before., or a livery is swapped for another equally good livery. Just brilliant. Its like you were ported back to e.g. the 1970's, 80's, 90's and more recently the 00's.
