- #SirensForLife Blood Donor Challenge is well underway. - Support us in a friendly competition, perhaps even save a life!
The Winnipeg Police Service and other local front-line services participate in a friendly competition by donating blood and trying to out-donate each other. The fun part for us is the good-natured bragging rights going to the group generating the most donations.
Thanks to everyone who has already stepped up to give the gift of life through this initiative and donated blood.
We all still have time to donate. We’re hoping that community members like you will join in and give lifesaving blood by scheduling a blood donation of your own.
Are you up for the challenge? If so, make sure you say you’re there on behalf of team WPS! 😉
Anyone wishing to participate in the Blood Challenge can book an appointment online through the Canadian Blood Services website or by calling 1-888-2-DONATE (1-888-236-6283).
Walk-ins are also welcome at 777 William Avenue.
