- When we love Jesus, we continually desire to be nearer and nearer to Him. He has promised to draw us to Himself, and will do so if we do not resist!
John 6:44, "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day."
John 12:32, "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."
May we all desire to be nearer to the Lord this week as we continue in our Christian walk.

I just love this hymn! With the picture and your pretty voice, I listened and followed along with the words, praying them. There's a lot of hymns that contain biblical wisdom and many times we fail to pay attention to the lyrics. Thank you so much for sharing and I pray God blesses you!
I believe many of them are filled with such deep truth. It’s one reason I prefer to worship by singing hymns rather than modern Christian music. There are exceptions of course, but I find the modern ones lacking in depth and truth. Hymns tell a story or an experience and they show deep spiritual experience. Such a blessing to us in our walk.
