A real HAPPY 78th Birthday to Mr. Doug MacLeod and really ALL the best to him ... (2024-0421)
Perfect Doug !
I love this song. Always hits home. Great openness of heart.
This will always be at the top of the list as one of my favorites
You know this is one of my favorites
Cheers Doug, stay on that endless road.
As always, from the heart and soul. Safe travel to Spain and great concerts. Next year back in Belgium🙂👍
Thanks. Yes Belgium!
Speechless, years of performing behind that song. Connection made! Thank you.
THE BEST!!!!!!!
Sounds awesome, Doug.
Doug, I'm not surprised to see you're sounding and playing as well today as the first night I caught you at the Upstairs in Virginia Beach in 1967. As a rocker at the time, I was blown away by the sounds you got out of your acoustic guitar with the bottleneck. I caught as many of your performances in the area (remember the Folk Ghetto in Norfolk) as I could. Those experiences changed my vision of what "authentic" blues could sound like; you were and still remain a master of the genre. I hope to catch you on tour one day. Stay safe and thanks for your music.
Hi Bob, Thank you. And my goodness we go back a bit - huh? Here's a link to Bandsintown where you can follow me. I'll be in DC and Tidewater later this month. Maybe we could say hello?

Hello Doug,
I remember seeing you in the '90's in Vlaardingen (Holland) @cafe d'Oude Stoep. Me and my band lended you guys our backline.
I remember enjoying the show.
Thanks for doing that Willem. We were traveling light.....:-)
Always enjoy your playing. Hope to see ya live again someday. Cheers and take care
Thanks for the music Doug. Safe travels as you hit the road.
A damn fine song Dubb, thank you for sharing. Good luck with the tour and a safe return :-) Al
Man, this is just the best I’ve heard . . . what a powerful tune. I’ve looked everywhere for the lyrics and chords. I’ve listened to all your tunes and yet to find one I don’t like. Just fantastic stuff. I don’t know how I haven’t come across your music until recently? Friend of mine said you live just down the road in Memphis.
Would love to catch a show sometime your in or around Memphis. Do you have a website or calendar available online?
Hi Jeff, Wow, thanks for those kind words Much appreciated. Yes we live in Memphis now and I do shows around Memphis and still do some touring. I do have a website www.doug-macleod.com and you can follow me on Bandsintown. Here's the link: www.bandsintown.com/a/46643-doug-macleod With my best, Doug
