this movie popped into my recommended, the first scene was the sniper scene. Now i'm up to this one and i can tell you, i will watch the rest XD....probably will watch the movie as well. Gotta love youtube and their weird algorithm hahahaha
I am in China right now, and the line where Wexler says "governments of Iran, Germany, CHINA..." is completely cut out on the version on the Chinese streaming service.🙄🙄🙄
I actually think it's almost an injustice that this movie never gets mentioned as paving the way for Skyfall. The dialogue scene in the gallery is pretty much the same as a similar scene between Bond and Q in Skyfall. The Istanbul rooftops are stolen directly. Ben Whishaw appears as a clerk here, he's Q in Skyfall. Rooftop sniper. The scoe which is more modern, a bit electronic. Plus the whole pace and way The International was shot - slow-burner, no rush, very precise and elegant cinematography - Skyfall, the same. I think everyone knows Skyfall borrowed from The Dark Knight, but it's interesting literally no one mentions these similarities with The International. Basically, The International helped evolve the spy genre and no The International, no Skyfall. Tom Tykwer and Clive Owen should get respect for that.
Money might always rule- but money is GOLD... the constitution says so itself. This crappy paper substitute always falls... these banks are just a mark of this time period. They will fall one day- just as 100's of countries have kicked out the bankers in times past.
Great scene! Great movie (had it on DVD but it went the way of all flesh). Clive Owen as the burned-out but still determined Interpol agent does this so well.
My Favorite Clive Owen Films Shoot Em Up, Trust 2011, King Arthur, Killer Elite 2011, Derailed 2005, The International, Beyond Borders, Inside Man, Sin City, Pink Panther 2006, &. Children of Men
Who else just watched one of these videos and now cant stop watching them?😂

I have never even heard of this film, going to look it up.
It’s a badass movie, it’ll tell ya what goes on behind the curtains. “He who controls the debt, controls the people”.
A must watch movie....
1:36 Money rules and big money rules absolutely; and that will never, ever change.
Under Capitalism, it can't. Private capital is cancerous to society
