Hi sir, I'm using 25mg of atenolol for my PTSD, now I'm experiencing leg weakness I run and weight train. Could it be because atenolol? If so how could I get off atenolol. Will my strength come back? Thank you!
If the leg weakness began right when you started the atenolol, you should follow up with your doctor. Also, if you're just returning to exercise, it will take some time for this strength to return. Stay consistent with your program and you should start to notice the improvement in strength.
@@nextgenrehab thank you sir. One more thing, I have a back injury since I was 19, now I'm 53 I have very little pain, a little in the upper quarter of my right buttock. Yesterday I took 400mg of ibuprofen, muscle pain and weakness disappeared in 20min. I think it could be radicular compression more than Atenolol to blaim ¿What do you think? I can see a Dr of course, but appointment will be for months in the future (Venezuela) I just want to figure out what's going on. I'm a perfumist, I must walk at least four hours a day in order to sell. There's is when weakness hit. Once again, thank you sir
@@busblu1475 It's hard to say what it could be without a proper assessment. But if the medication helped, it's obviously good news. I've included a few routine's from my channel for back pain. Try these routines a few times a week to see if it helps. Avoid any exercises that increase the pain. ruclips.net/video/7WowaUiILjc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/MXItfN044_w/видео.html
How do you stay so lean sir?
I couldn’t help but notice your visible bicep vein how do you achieve that level of leanness maybe you can make a video about your diet
Diet plays a big part along with a consistent exercise routine. Definitely a video I can make in the future if there's enough interest!
@@nextgenrehab What sort of diet are you on as well as what excercise do you do calisthenics or weight lifting?
