    I've had a "prepper" mind set for years. But unlike yall, or most of yall, i have basically no physical preps. That's why I love llod. Once i do go out and buy stuff, I'll know what I want and what to get. Much love from FoCo!:)

      Good thing is the mindset is the most important thing - gear definitely helps too though, haha

    Thanks for the review! I like Biolite's gear, but I think I've got what I need already in my DIY preparedness kits. I'm definitely going to share with my friends though.

    I recently installed 5 Inergy Linx solar panels on my shed. They recharge the Inergy APEX solar generator in ~2 hours. It's a nice little setup if you can't install solar panels on your roof for whatever reason. NOTE: The optional 6' EC8-to-EC8 extention cables are too long for this type of setup although its quite easy to make shorter cables.

    Great review Mike,always appreciate your video!! All of them!! How is the ankle? Why to do say USB C over micro? What’s the advantage of the C?

    • @cazkeymekam6427

      USB C is just becoming standard.

    • @LastLineOfDefense
      @LastLineOfDefense  5 лет назад

      Yeah mostly because all of modern tech (tablets, laptops, phones, etc) are all on usb c, and it'd be nice to only have to have one cable.

    Man, I got the 620. Don't know how to set English as the language??. Not in the manual. It's stuck on some other language. I just got this thing. No number to call, just send email. Any ideas. Little aggravating. I can set time

    Mike thank you for your videos!! I am 25 years old and never went to college, I find my self having a really hard time keeping up with new "tech" and how to not be left behind the power curve with staying relevant with my friends and family on both hardware and software. Will you please make a video on resources you might use or recommend to understand "tech" more completely so I can join my peers in today's world?

      ethan ward ask questions, my dude. What questions do you have about tech? Most of the experience all of us gained was either through getting out and playing with the tech, or just searching the stuff on you tube.

    The most versatile portable stove IMHO is the 5" Firebox Stove. Clean up is a bit tedious but it will literally last a lifetime and that's kinda what you want.

    What do you do with all the gear that you dont end up using time and time again, I'm a college student and dont have much money but love what you're doing and love this type of stuff. But being in college I have little to no money for anything, any thoughts or any ideas for preparedness on a budget?

    Nice review. Almost looks like the entry pad for my old apartment!
    Correct me if this suggestion is not appropriate, but I'm about to go on my first "backpacking trip" (basically an extended hike with camping along the trip and not returnig to the car) And since you have extensive knowledge (and cool content) would you ever do a load out bag review / or tips to preparedness in a single pack? Kinda like your bugout bag, but more short term necessities? IDK if this falls under your realm of video content, but I think it would be a good segment to expand into.
    Just a suggestion. Looking forward to the next weekenderlander.

      You don't believe they sent me a kit?

    • @kuuphone3193
      @kuuphone3193 5 лет назад

      @@LastLineOfDefense I think that sending someone free stuff is payment as much as any other. There is incentive to give good reviews to continue to get good merchandise to review, and even if you don't purposely do so, it alters your perception when it's free stuff.
      I just always find it a little disingenuous when RUclipsrs say "I'm not being paid, this was just free expensive stuff I got as payment for a review."

    • @LastLineOfDefense
      @LastLineOfDefense  5 лет назад +2

      Money pays bills, product pays nothing - there is a 1000% difference. Anyone with a moderately sizable following can get anything they want for free. Free products are treated the exact same as purchased products - if I like them I use them, if I don't like them nobody ever sees them.
