Driving in Germany: Autobahn A5 E35 from Offenburg to Dreieck Karlsruhe

Wow. Another trip in my favorite part of Germany. Your driving is always precise and courteous. I admire and try always to drive in your style. Your choice of music is also top notch. When I lived in Karlsruhe, our favorite places were Baden Baden and the Roman Baths, Strassburg, Bad Herrenald and rock climbing and the people that were always so nice to someone learning the German language. Hi, great video thanks for posting. Can you tell me please the speed limit on this highway, I cannot see the sign, and I read that in German there is not speed limit on the highways, just recommended speed, is that true? Thank you again

Thanks for stopping by. I think on this particular highway it's mostly unlimited. But around 13:44 you can see a speed limit. It's not true that there is no speed limit on German Autobahn. In fact, there is more Autobahn with a speed limit than without. However, there are also quite a few Autobahn stretches, like this one, that don't have a speed limit. In that case the recommended speed is indeed 130 km/h but if you want to go faster and the traffic situation allows for it, you can choose to do so.
