I've noticed that in the media and it's been said a few times, with the three victims that were killed last year in Nottingham , that the older gentleman that was murdered never or rarely gets mentioned compared to the other two, why is this ?
Both myself andy son have mental health disorders and sometimes even though we don't need hospitalisation. Having said that some people who don't take their medication need to be in hospital at least until they are safe in the community.These hospitals are pleasant for the patient or the families. Some refuse to take their meds in which case I would say they must be hospitalised under supervision to ensure they have their meds every day and on time. I also think that in some really bad cases they need to be in hospital, no chance of community care whatsoever. People may not like that idea I certainly don't like that idea myself but in extreme cases this is the only answer.
