I just injured my knee so this is great info. Hearing it discussed in relation to skating makes it much more relatable. Awesome clips too. Suciu snatching the bucket from that dude lol
As a former gymnast now coach, yes, will personally verify ice has worked for me over the years. I've only been injured s small handful of times, and it's mainly due to over training and fractures. But everyone's body is different. I can't stress this enough; what works for me, will probably work differently for another. Our bodies and strength need to be in the top 99% of the world; and to get there, we put our bodies through extreme rigorous conditioning. Ice baths have really helped me through my youth and teen years. Not only to help recovery, and helped my tendinitis, but it helps regulate my breathing due to the cold and lowers my stress levels actively.
Ive been skating for 10 years .. i didnt ever use ice .. sprained wrists hyper extended knee sprained ankles dozens of time .. whenever i would fall on my hips and they would be so sore like i cant fulky use my legs id just slap some icyhot .. never ice .. its better to let your body heal on its own you heal faster and are prone to less injury .. afterr all thesse years i barley ever sprain anything and havent rolled my ankle in YEARS .. yeah ice blows
I had a hard time listening to the conversation, but only because the footage is amazing, very sick!

As a basketball player and skateboarder for more than half my life this is very conflicting.
