When the show opens, I'm presented with a charismatic protagonist, Srikant, and his beautiful wife and awesome kids, and I IMMEDIATELY decided I was rooting for "their team". And, as you might have guessed, I'm ravenously loyal to teams I root for, so I'll go down with the Srikant/Suchi ship and right now Arvind is simply a threat lol

Then it's fair that you're angry as you are affected by their actions which you innately know is wrong. My only qualm is that most people wouldn't have as much beef with Suchi over the situation as they have with Arvind. Anyways, always love your reactions, especially the Arvind type ones 😂. But then they kept contrasting sharply Suchi's egocentric behaviour against Sri's altruistic one risking his life for the country. That created a shift in viewers' sympathy apart from viewers' own moral views.
Guns are not that common in Indian homes, You can get gun only if you are working with law enforcement, some agency (Like Srikant) or you need to get a licence which is not easy, Also, Srikant's kids don't know about his real job,

It is set in in the same universe and unless you watch that you might miss nuances when crossovers heavily start to happen. Farzi is also very good. Do what you will with this.
