Auto tune might be used while recording this video via coaxial microphone they are using. Maybe you are used to with auto tune sound, auto tune do have other tones and notes..
I seriously doubt there isn't any pitch correction being used, its subtle though. Also "masking beats noise" makes no sense.

I've heard so many different variations of this song (accoustic, live, both music videos, the parody music video they made) and it is INFECTIOUS. I don't know what it is about this song, but whenever I hear it I have to listen to the whole thing. It probably has to be one of my favorite songs of all time; I just truly enjoy it. I am so happy I found it.

Just remembered this song again. Reminds me of my kids growing up. Didn’t like it at first but now that I’m older it brings back memories of my kids. I miss their innocence!

OMG!! here i am sitting here shaking my head in total awe. I already have goosebumps through the whole song and then when they say can you feel my love part my goosebumps get goosebumps on them. So damn good. Unreal. Just such an upbeat happy song with beautiful harmonies. That's what gets me right there, them harmonies. This is really a great song and a great performance, but it might not be appropriate to call it "acoustic" since they are using an electric bass and electric keyboard. Then again, perhaps I'm being too technical. 😃
Think they ment acoustic more like, not used a computer to change stuffs

You might be being just a little too technical. The keyboard could be swapped out for a baby grand piano with no change to the sound of the track; the only issue would be space and cost (Nord Stage 2, about $4k, Yamaha C3 baby grand, about $15k).
Bass guitar is tough to do "unplugged", no two ways about it. It may be impossible to come up with a guitar-sized acoustic bass instrument that can compete unamped with a six-string. Even if they'd used an ABG for this video it would be plugged in (or heavily miked), so why not let her keep an instrument she's familiar with?
If I had to relabel this video I'd probably call it the "Garage Band version"; recorded in one take with relatively inexpensive gear and minimal post-processing (balance levels and a drop of reverb)
Well, perhaps, but that is what acoustic means. Also, they don't have to use an acoustic bass guitar. A string bass could be used just as easily.
