44:55 The IR receiver is likely included to bring the cost of the controllers down, as IR is wayyyy cheaper than whatever proprietary protocol Xbox used for their controller. That's why they were able to include so many controllers in with the game - clever! 51:51 - DS download play is likely not used because the DS has 4 MB of RAM. They'd have to squeeze each entire video sequence in RAM and THEN have the host DS download the video to each system... for every question. I understand why they didn't do that, even if it sucks.

Thanks so much
I would love to see an analog horror video based on this game, or using the game’s format to tell a story, that would be pretty cool and surreal
The Harry Potter Scene It would consistently give young me horrifying nightmares for some reason
I remember having the Nickelodeon and Disney ones when i was little.
I remember that they did a deal with General Mills Food Company and put DVDs on every cereal box. You can play on the box with the cereal being the pieces. Wish we kept it because it was bizarre lol.
Oh boy! New Jonii Upload!
Finished and great video!! Glad to see your return and looking forward to the next one!!
58:46 gotta love how they play a random clip from the movie then ask a question about the movie that has *literally nothing* to do with the clip
34:56 "Make a guest list that includes all your *Twilight Saga* friends!"
alright here goes
there perfect that's all of em
55:58 had to look mario lopez up? bro how old is jonii 😭😭😭
This is the exact kind of hyper-specific, niche topic, documentary-lite, length-of-a-1970s-Disney-movie video that I crave for
Bravo
Finally, a video to watch while I wait for my dad to come back with milk
This is my favourite type of video: a completely deranged deep dive into a topic I've never heard about.
I like the mid-video drink-mixing instructions. I wish all of the hour-long dissertation videos about Scene It would do this.
Wait wait wait, Did nobody else notice that they "guy on the Quip It box" is Jon Heder, Napoleon Dynamite?
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE A VIDEO LIKE THIS FOR SO LONG
I FUCKING *LOVE* SCENE IT
Missed you so much Jonii! Welcome back🎉🎉
the way the ssx tricky music in the background immediately had me locked in
16:01 Holy shit, I never expected to see a Danganronpa cameo in a random deep dive video and that cameo to include my favorite character Genocide Jack. I'm so happy and surprised and confused.
i streamed the game on Twitch last year! Jill is a fav of mine.
crypto NFT bullshit was definitely not something i expected to be included in the demise of scene it, but it’s 2024 so i really shouldn’t be surprised lmao
Oh boy a deep dive of a boardgame I always wanted to play but had insufficient amount of friends and family to actually play! Hell yeah. Good video and good deepdive
I remember when I was a kid my family would just put the DVD in, split into two teams, and would try to guess movies by the little clips before the other team, and that was enough
23:18 I definitely have memories of Nickelodeon Scene It.
Props for using tracks from the Mega Man 7 and 8 OSTs as background music, those OSTs are absolutely peak
That looks like jon heder on quip it
I had a very unhealthy addiction in collecting Different versions of Scene It? When i was a kid.
I would’ve loved a Cartoon Network edition of scene it?.
This was a very interesting dive into a board game I owned but never bothered playing because any other game seemed like a better time. Maybe I'll dig that thing out one day and give it another go.
Also I love your avatar, very cute!
I wish I can go to the Strong toy Museum in NY right now. 😢
We also had a Disney Stitch DVD board game with episodes from the TV series based on the movies.
My experience in scene it was when it was the toy included with Wendy's kids meals.
0:00 Best intro ever
glad that they made a game like scene it (2022) for big buff men like me
first time encountering this channel, this was honestly a really solid and fun video. good job 👍
Good old corporations. So out of touch, they think the general public wants NFTs
