The biggest crime against humanity: we never got a Cartoon Network Scene It?. We got a Scene It? for Nickelodeon and a Scene It? for Disney Channel, but not one for CN. A Cartoon Network edition of Scene It? in 2006 (the same year as the Nickelodeon edition’s release), which was during the era of their iconic CN City branding, would have gone HARD.
Cartoon Network Scene It probably wasn't done because they would've had to include Boomerang for it to feel right. Which was meant alot more time than they probably had to make each version of Scene It.
Also I could've sworn the Dance Dance Revolution DVD game (yes that's a real thing) has an ESRB rating as well, however I haven't checked so this could just be me being silly :P
As someone who is from Rochester, NY (the home of the Strong museum) I HIGHLY recommend going if you have any interest in videogames, toy history, or just anything to appeal to your inner child. I go every time I’m back in New York.
I literally stayed in the Rochester area while living in an rv specifically for the strong museum, it was SO worth it, I absolutely love it and will be going back someday

I still have my boxed copy of Disney Scene It! 20 something years later and the memories I had playing with my family were countless. There was a simplicity to these kinds of things that I feel get taken for granted nowadays. But back then, it was so much fun.

Both the menu/UI for Disney and Harry Potter (1-4) scared me so much as a kid and I have no idea why, but I would genuinely feel unsafe while playing lmao. Fun fact - The Fat Man also composed the music for the NES version of Maniac Mansion, alongside The 7th Guest, Loom, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, SimCity 2000, Wing Commander, and Ultima Underworld. Basically his entire gameography is full of hidden gems - definitely give it a view.

Screenlife’s website had playable Scene It? demos at one point, which are now also lost media (or at the very least, inaccessible). And Imagination Games has been around long before they found Gamestar, making DVD games (mostly based on game shows) in the mid-2000s. This was quite the watch, and I’m glad RUclips’s recommendations helped me for once.
Having finally finished this hour long epic, I now have proper knowledge of that one board game that my family has that we never played once and it the legacy it left behind on this mortal world. Thank you Jonii.

We took it over to our Nan's house and I remember it being one of my favourite Christmas memories, the cosy warm fire while sitting on the soft carpet of my Nan's living room and having some other family members over, it was a good time. I'm happy to experience Scene-it as it was one of my favourite board games growing up. Even leaving it idle is enough to creep me out. As the DVD menu loops or loads anything new, that brief pause feels like something could randomly pop up like a jumpscare. The creator of scene it recently released a new board game called clipology witch is basically a secesser to scene it. It plays more so the same as scene it but with some changes like the flextime game board replaced with a much smaller board and final cut or final act as it is called in this game being 5 sections instead of 3. It also does the DVD part with streaming instead of with a DVD or Blu-Ray and as such suffers from manny of the same issues as movie scene it (2022)

That's why they were able to include so many controllers in with the game - clever! 51:51 - DS download play is likely not used because the DS has 4 MB of RAM. They'd have to squeeze each entire video sequence in RAM and THEN have the host DS download the video to each system... for every question. I understand why they didn't do that, even if it sucks.
It's because of Scene It that I realized how big the U.S. was. My family and a family from church played Disney Scene it. The tiebreaker was "the person who was born the closest to a Disney Park wins." The other family had a British Mom who was born in London and it was 2 hours to Paris. The rest of us were born 12 hours away.
I grew up playing Scene it Marvel edition, and it came in the metal box with the holographic top. I loved playing that game with my brother and dad, and I had no idea how many different versions there were!
I had two scene it boards, one I got through a kids meal, and another through a raffle at elementary. This game scared the crap out of me because the music for the game was so intense and creepy, it made me feel like I was playing a game of life and death and not just some movie trivia 😂

As someone who was given a DVD player at work last year, found a large JVC I'Art CRT on the sidewalk and collects an inordinate amount of physical media including the complete series DVD set of Animaniacs and the first 8 seasons of Columbo, I must thank you for making videos like this that appeal to musty virgin freaks such as myself

Okay, but the Scene It tutorial and Disney fast play also creeped the hell out of me as a kid.
The creator of scene it recently released a new board game called clipology witch is basically a secesser to scene it. It plays more so the same as scene it but with some changes like the flextime game board replaced with a much smaller board and final cut or final act as it is called in this game being 5 sections instead of 3. It also does the DVD part with streaming instead of with a DVD or Blu-Ray and as such suffers from manny of the same issues as movie scene it (2022)

51:51 - DS download play is likely not used because the DS has 4 MB of RAM. They'd have to squeeze each entire video sequence in RAM and THEN have the host DS download the video to each system... for every question. I understand why they didn't do that, even if it sucks.
It's because of Scene It that I realized how big the U.S. was. My family and a family from church played Disney Scene it. The tiebreaker was "the person who was born the closest to a Disney Park wins." The other family had a British Mom who was born in London and it was 2 hours to Paris. The rest of us were born 12 hours away.

I had two scene it boards, one I got through a kids meal, and another through a raffle at elementary. This game scared the crap out of me because the music for the game was so intense and creepy, it made me feel like I was playing a game of life and death and not just some movie trivia 😂
