  • Duke The Dumpster on Losing his Foot
Former WWE Superstar Duke "The Dumpster" Droese explains the tragic circumstances around why he had to have is foot amputated in 2013 after battling with prescription drugs for years to initially deal with the foot pain but unfortunately in the end the need for the prescription medications became more important to him than the recovery of the foot injury and eventually led to criminal charges.

You can tell that Duke is a stand-up guy. He didn't blame others for his problems; he dealt with them and moved on with his life.

Even if Devin never makes it to the 'Big Show' he has secured his place in the world of wrestling. Nobody gets the inside story like him. I'm telling you in 20 years we will be celebrating his accomplishments as the best wrestling interviewer ever. To boldly go where no wrestling entertainer has gone before.

Although Duke wasn't 1of the guys that I liked watching in the old WWF he had a good size and look to be an upper mid card heel if the WWF had changed him from the garbage man gimmick. It's refreshing to watch these interviews and see the man himself take responsibility for his actions and not blame others for their own addictions I have gained a tremendous amount of respect for the man and I'm glad he has conquered his demons. I hope that the rest of his life he has happiness and addiction free

Good for him!! As a former Pro Wrestler I feel like all wrestlers are family to me in some way and it makes me genuinely happy to see a fellow wrestler doing good. God bless him.

I did drug court in norfolk county (quincy,ma) 6 months in a halfway house, 6 months in a sober house, 6 months straight probation.....it saved my life and brought "me" back to my children and family. Its a tough program, good for you "dumpster", hope ur doing well.
I liked this character when i was younger.....hope all is well my friend.

I pay more attention to the low level wwf/e guy’s shoots. These guys know they have have no chance of getting in the hof or doing any future business , thus they’re more truthful about their experiences and opinions on people they worked with, because they know have nothing to lose. Just my opinion.....

@THE HANNIBAL TV You should ask wrestlers in future interviews from the 80s 90s era about stories about John Tenta aka Earthquake or The Shark. Thankyou

And this guy straight up told me. "You gonna drink this beer?" . (I said no!, This is for duke the dumpster!!!!). And the guy said Fuck yeah!.... In Huntington west Virginia!. And he said how did you get this beer kid!. I said because your fucking duke the dumpster Josie!. And this was my greatest moment!

Anyone know which state that was in? In Washington State, you get your felonies dismissed if you complete drug court. But i know many states do not do it that way. They only do it instead of prison or jail time.
