- Who is Andy Ascolese? I'm Andy Ascolese and I am a NYC based musician. I play drums, keyboards, guitar, bass and vocals. This video is a quick recap of what I've been doing the past few years, like playing with Kasim Sulton and Blue Öyster Cult. Also my work with the Band Geek podcast.

You are a musical "force of nature," Andy, truly an inspiring musician! I just stumbled on to Richie Castellano's website via a performance on the SFAS website. Though it was a "simple" blues shuffle you all made it sound fresh and alive and it took just a couple of measures to realize what a great player you are. More internet roaming confirmed that fact and I'm really glad I've discovered you! Have you crossed paths with Mauricio Zottarelli? He's an amazing musician/drummer in your neck of the woods...

PS, I saw Kasim's Utopia at the Iridium last year and randomly was seated right next to your mom. SUCH PRIDE! It was lovely to meet her.

Words don't really express my respect and awe at just how impressive the live stream covers are. Such great results. Great multi skilled mastery, musically and technically. Hard enough to build up music tracks but doing it in real time in a livestream format is wonderful to see/hear. Watched nearly all the bandgeek vids, thanks and best wishes with this channel.
Big BOC fan, it took a minute to focus on the piano work on The Alchemist but brother that's one of my new favorite songs & of course BOC is awesome but you really bring it all together. I wish there was some more of ya in that video but count me as a fan, I'll be checking out more of your work now
