  • Takapari Road is a challenging 4x4 track in Manawatu, New Zealand. In this video the track has been waterlogged and conditions are less then ideal. We were winching almost from the start of the track. Although we never got far in, the track looks epic and we will definitely be coming back in the summer. A brilliant video from Limitless Evolution ( / 815533412541733 ) and the hard core day on the track is a definite must see here: • Bogged on 37's - Did w...
28th June 2024: On this trip we are driving a 2022 Toyota Fortuner. It is basically stock with a bull bar, winch, front recovery points, rock sliders and a snorkel. The tires are Falken Wildpeak AT3 and slightly larger then the regular 31s that come from the factory; 265/70/R17.

Great vid and footage and a different range of rigs gave the winches a work out...just wondering what it would of been like without the music

Thanks mate. The music is kind of my style, its what I have been doing for my hiking and kayaking videos. I will try to leave more audio in and add some voice over in my next videos.

How long did it take each way/how long do you think it would've taken to do the track both ways? (excluding the gravel road to the hut at the top). Gonna give it a go this weekend and wanting to see how much time to give ourselves. Cheers

Sorry mate, but we did not make it even half way. From what I hear, if you have a few vehicles, you will need the whole day to go there and back again. Let us know how it went ;)

the bog hole further up has been bigger than a full 80 series for couple years, youl only make it to the top if its summer and hasnt rained in the last decade hahahahah
