What an introduction to Kpop! Ive is one of the leading groups in South Korea right now; they are still considered rookies and debuted with their first single album in Dec 2021. (The members are 16-20 years old now.) Their song "Love Dive" swept all the 'Song of the Year' awards last year in Korea and was their claim to fame, so to speak. This song, "I Am", is currently #1 on all the Korean charts. If you're interested, I'd also suggest reacting to Ive's song "After Like" which samples Gloria Gaynor's classic "I Will Survive".....that was also a huge hit last year. It would be cool to see you guys explore Kpop a little bit; its a whole other world lmao.
I love IVE. I love their music. Their music is iconic. Their discography is flawless. Their title tracks and B-SIDES are really good. Their MVs are top-tier.
If you want to hear the rock sound in K-pop, listen to Dreamcatcher's PIRI. Dreamcatcher is not a rock band. However, Dreamcatcher has a sound that mixes rock and K-pop well. I think Dreamcatcher is probably the best K-pop group for your area.
For some rock/ballad bands with members who actually play instruments in KPop, I suggest you guys should react to *FT Island* _(debuted in 2007),_ *Onewe* _(Debuted in 2015 as M.A.S. 0094 and redebuted in 2019 as Onewe)_ and *Buzz* _(debuted in 2003)._ My personal favorite is Buzz, and while K-bands are quite underrated in general, there are some more popular groups rn like FT Island, Day6, The Rose, and XDinary Heroes. K-Bands were big in the 2000s but not that big anymore, so I hope there'd be an era for K-Bands in the future!
Personally I have never liked Ive's previous songs, but right now I listen to I Am everyday. I really love it and addicted to it, I think it's a great song!
For something similar but more to your tastes (probably), and someone's already mentioned it, but check out Dreamcatcher. Chase Me (and Good Night), Deja Vu, or Scream might be good places to start if you're interested, while Endless Night is one of their most metal-influenced tracks.
Hello! I would like to recommend day6 and xdinary heroes they are k-rock bands and they are amazing. I would recommend rescue me by day6 for the hard one or if u want something more emotional i need somebody is good. For xdinary heroes i would recommend good enough for something emotional and strawberry cake for something harder. Thank you :)

I think a cool one for you guys to react to at some point is BTS but particularly there song Fake Love (Extended Ver.) ruclips.net/video/D_6QmL6rExk/видео.html The main music video and the extended version have two different sound mixes, the extended has a more rock/alternative sound it which I think yall would enjoy more.

Ive is a year old group and they just released their first full album. They had 3 other singles which are amazing. IVE is kpop royalty.
Most K-pop songs have very positive messages and safe for whole family.
