What we consider "music" can take different forms, and what is produced by these older EMD two-stroke Diesels I consider music. Impressive, even at idle, a symphony at speed under load.
So good to see a GP9 still in use, even if it’s on excursion trains, don’t see many high-hood locomotives any more, beautiful landscape as well. Keep it up my friend.🚂👍🏼😎
An interesting train, with the GP9, a beautiful museum railway, very nice shots of the landscape and the animals. I think such a Caboose is simply fantastic, unfortunately we don't have these vehicles.Wish you a nice weekend
I miss the 6076. Had the privilege of riding in the cab quite a few times when it ran between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid on the Adirondack. Thank you for posting
Definitely wish I could've gotten to work with her before the Alcos over here on Adirondack. Thankfully though, we're getting a new GP9 from the defunct New York and Greenwood Lake, after it's soon finished with its rebuild into a GP9M
