You're right, it is hard to decide, between both scale colors and blade shapes. The white one wins by a sliiight margin. And the 1/3rd stop is a unique feature. Thanks TK!
I've been digging these and all the different colors available but agree you should be able to choose the one that comes with it. Appreciate you sharing this one!
Ooh, that Clip point is sweet! I find them easier for detailed wood carving work. Next one on "the list" has been ordered, a Karesuendo (probably spelt wrong) Lars Falt. No, if there's a lanyard hole I wouldn't usually bother with pocket clips (I'd use the pocket clip to tie the lanyard to) but occasionally they can bulk up the handle width to a reasonable thickness so arthritic hand aren't an issue.
The clip reminds me a lot of what Buck does well with clip points. And that drop/spear looks like a really nice blade shape, especially for people liking the modernized traditional side of things.
Great new intro! These seem like great knives from what I have seen from Slippy, and now you. A very excellent review. Great they sent you the other as well! I like how easy the scale are to change. Thank you for sharing!
It is a nice knife and I would immediately remove the clip and find a slip for it. This is one that I would keep an eye on for a discount in a few months. I do love Barlows.
Your makin waves John people are starting to see how good of videos your doing!!!!!! Good job John nice little pieces something new to look at thanks buddy stay well cool piece 😊
Hey TK, Like the look of these and like both blade shapes. Cool that you can interchange the scales but agree it would be nice to choose what colour they come with. Great review and thanks for sharing brother 😎👍🏻
Thanks so much, Sean. The color and blade options make it fun to give you that one of a kind selection for yourself. Just wish they didn't make you pay extra for the more vibrant options.
Hi, thanks for the review. I got one in drop point and it's real nice. Igot it because it has a pocket clip so it won't be loose in the pocket. I do wish I could change the clip to a shorter one. Do you know if there's a way to get one?

Tough choices. The blades are great. I'll take both! Thanks, DD
Really like the new intro . Nice knife , the evolution of a classic pattern . It would be interesting to see more of this concept .
Great review .
It's a nice modern take. I don't always like the modern designs, but this appeals to me. Thanks for your comment Michael.
I miss the old intro with the tool box , I like the Speer point a little more.
Oh boy. Miss it huh? Ok. Thanks, James.
Great review,I think I need one of these in my collection. Thanks paddy
Thanks a bunch big fella. I thought you were gonna pass out in the woods, good thing for Jud. Be well, mate.
I've been digging these and all the different colors available but agree you should be able to choose the one that comes with it. Appreciate you sharing this one!
Yep, it's a silly game they wanna play. Thanks, Uncommon.
Both nice! The SPEAR point is very good looking blade option. Thank you for the inside look!
Thanks very much, GV. They did an excellent job on the design. A nice modern slippy.
Great short intro. Visually interesting with a great sound track! Perfect length.
Great review. Thank you!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for watching, Rob.

Yep, I get the need for more bulk for an easier grip. I've been managing my arthritis better in the last few months. Thanks, JK.
Very nice. I just bought my first modern slipjoint. A benchmade proper
Very cool Fib, I hope you enjoy it.
The clip reminds me a lot of what Buck does well with clip points. And that drop/spear looks like a really nice blade shape, especially for people liking the modernized traditional side of things.
It's a nice compromise between the old and new. A fresh take.
Great video. Love the RB5. I like the new intro - and I liked the old one too. Really like the photos at the end too. Thanks TK.
Glad you enjoyed it, MB. Have a great day.
Enjoyed the new intro! And that clip blade is really growing on me 👀 great review John
Thanks, Slippy. Where did it grow on you? Weird.

Thank you kindly Randy. I'm not always keen on modern slipjoints, but these hit the mark for me.
Great review, short and sweet, and the knife has a lot going for it. Would be a great choice for a modern slip joint EDC knife.
I think so too, Ray. A good modern take on a great traditional design.
A modern traditional, looks cool. Very concise review, as always.
Thanks TK
They are really well done. A good option for a modern traditional knife. Thanks, Check.
I like that design! The nested liners are great!!!!
Solid build. great action and blades. No complaints, but for the color options from go. Thanks, Mike.
Not the most budget option, but really good quality all around. I like both bladestyles, maybe favour the droppoint a bit. Thank you John.
No, not the most affordable thing ever. Good solid knife though with some great features and a classic shape.

Perhaps they will have a sale on them at some point. Thanks, Terrance.
I'm with you, I don't care for a clip on my slip joints.
Nope , not needed.
Cool piece! And by the way, your new intro is awesome. 👍Cheers, buddy!
Thanks very much, David. Glad you like it.
Hey TK
Good looking knives, great video thanks for sharing
Thanks very much for having a look,Terry. A nice choice if you like a modern slippy.

I dunno what I'm doing Jersey. Clueless over here. Thanks for watching, buddy.
Nice traditional knife at a good price. I will get one and brown scales!
Real Steel did a really nice job with these. Thanks, Daniel.
Nice review! I favor the drop point a bit. I know they’re G10 scales but look a little “plastic”, maybe not to the real feel. (?) 1/3 stop is nice.
Yea the feel is pretty nice. They feel quality. Thanks, Doc.
Hey TK,

A little pricey, but Real steel has very good modern design and their g10 is very nice, thanks for sharing, TK.
The feel of the G10 is excellent. Just wish they'd let you pick from all the colors right from go. Thanks, Jose.
Interesting knife. Thanks for showing it.
Thanks for having a look, Dean. Pretty cool for a modern style Barlow.
I'm a fan of the clip point, but I gotta go spear point this time around.
Yea I had a hard time deciding, Zen. Both are solid choices.
Hi, thanks for the review. I got one in drop point and it's real nice. Igot it because it has a pocket clip so it won't be loose in the pocket. I do wish I could change the clip to a shorter one. Do you know if there's a way to get one?
No, I don't know of any other clip that would work with it. Thanks for watching and welcome to the channel.
If you're testing a new intro, my vote is for the old one. It gets me more amped up for the review hehe 🤠👍
Thanks, Jesse. Always like to get a feel for how they are received. Take care.
Very nice! I think the spear point for the win. Both blades are very nice though. Question: are you "Bronco Guru"?
I like both blades, it is a touch choice between the two. Never heard of Bronco Guru. Thanks, Ken.

THANK YOU 🌲
Thanks, Ofer. Have a great day.
Greetings from Aransas Pass.
Nice knife, both.
Hello fellow Texan. Glad you like them, Dennis. Great blades on these. Have a terrific day.
Looks like a nice knife but I can't get into those integrated bolsters on the scales. Good video as always 👍
The modern take is gonna have some compromise to traditional ways. So yep, not for everyone. Thanks, Michael. Good to meet you, Sunday.
@ThriftyKaniffy definitely my pleasure, and thank you for the welcome.
I like the new intro!
Thanks, RSV. I appreciate the feedback.
Real Steel make great knives imho,, 👍🔪
I certainly like this model, John. Have a great day.
Hummm or the Swiss Army Excelsior....
That's the choice? The Excelsior is quite a bit more affordable.
I collect Barlow knives
This should fit the bill. Thanks, Jeff.
That pocket clip belongs on a disposable pen.
Yep, I didn't want it on there. Easily removed.
Brilliant thanks mine black handle
These are great modern style Barlows. The interchangeable covers is a fun option.
