Alex forgot to big up Dave though. Dave really created a safe space for him and gave confidence boosts at the right moments for him to have a magic moment. That's what amazing people can do for others. But unfortunately most people don't recognise whats being done for them because the touches are so selfless and subtle on purpose, that person thinks they did it all on their own. They get in the spotlight and not realise what the person who helped them did for them. Everything from making sure he had water, to looking him in the eyes and saying im here, and filling the gaps so boy could breathe, to hyping him up when he was running out of steam. Dave is an absolute star. I got so much love for that man. (This rant made me think of Tommy Gunn in Rocky 5. Be careful who you share your gifts with. Few are worthy)
