@@monalisasarangi2097 I’m not saying that this is Buddhism, I’m saying that’s what I was brought up hearing as that’s what I grew up in in my culture. You can easily search on Google how Lord Hanuman is also known as Monkey God in other cultures. It’s not new news. I suggest you try expanding your knowledge of other cultures as well and understanding that there are many instances that similar deities are also mentioned in other beliefs around the world and not just in India.

People ignorant of the world - please know that Hanuman has been revered in many forms across cultures. In Eastern traditions, he inspired/is the Monkey King, Sun Wukong. It's not an insult, to call Hanuman a monkey, it's insulting when divisive elements like you all, try to demean this person and try to impose your half-baked knowledge on her. And it is very clear in Itihāsa [Sri Rāmayana] that Hanuman ji wasn't like a monkey. And also that His Prakrit Form is Human form. And He wear Janeu, Monkey wears Janeu? When I say he’s bulky it means he’s muscular. Which is why athletes say they are bulking up which means they are building muscles.
