@@natam1616 "bro relax its just a thing that happens to you when you are playing competitive games, the bits of frustration causes you to do that, its a normal human thing." Agreed, but within context. Complaining is all he does. Frustration is a part of games in general, whether that's a platformer or Arena shooter. The problem lies within incessantly and obsessively focusing on the negatives, which rapha has been doing for a long time now. "I bet it happens to you but you dont realize, and since you are not recording yourself, no one knows" I've been playing UT99 and Quake 3 since 1999. My days of letting my emotions get the better of me during matches have been over for years. And when I did vent my frustrations, it never became the main focus of my attitude and mentality, unlike rapha. I'm not the only player I can use as an example regarding what a shift in perception can produce. Have you seen k1llsen play? Sure he's not the best professional player, but he's an absolute joy to watch. He'll laugh at his own suicides, he'll give props to the enemy player when credit is due, and his general vibe is that of someone who is positive. That being said, I'd rather watch a lower skilled player having fun, than the #1 quake player whining at every little thing, when more often than not - he's completely in the wrong about what he's whining about.
@@sev7463 At the end of the day, you’re not superior to anyone else just because you manage your emotions differently during a gaming session. Rapha has gotten to where he’s at because of his immense drive and passion for quake. Little mistakes that you wouldn’t get upset about and try to write off bother him exponentially more than they will ever bother you because he’s that much more invested in it than you. It’s his life… Rapha literally breathes quake. Also, he “complains too much” according to you… ok? I have a revelation for you in this case: don’t watch his content lol. It's not, people always assume that having low ping is like some unfair advantage. But what ends up happening is that all your shots "miss" and you get hit with everything. At least the way the netcode is set up in iD games anyways. I used to love playing on low ping servers, until I started seeing everyone on 40-90 ping hitting 65 LG, but they couldn't do that on low ping servers. Now I stick to 30-40 ping servers and it's much better.
I wish rapha to calm down and realize how whining he constantly is while most of his opponents have twice, if not 5 times his ping, and don’t complain. That is just ridiculous. You’re not a sport rapha and it’s a pity…
that's the point: purple is semi-pro player 1000 elo under rapha, and the video tells us how daddy rapha destroys non-proplayer with crying about ping)))
Do these pros play any other shooting game besides quake?
Can you post the 3 Wins of purplefish vs Rapha? It was a phänomenal game, where rapha cryed a lot :D
Is that Keanu Reeves little brother?
Purple who?
first round rapha aim and movement felt pretty rusty, but still he is always better at everything else!
Doesn't he practice this game everyday? Why would his aim seem "rusty" at all? Ping and netcode are the more likely culprits.

It's like it's not even fun for him. He just keeps playing because it's his job and what else is he going to do with his life?

50% vs Slash would be insane. 50% vs Clutch is standard.

He is not whinning constantly, actually his behaviour is natural
You don't seem to realise that having a low ping is often a huge disadvantage because of the way QC netcode works. This has been explained many times.
