This song is about Xu Lizhi, a young Chinese worker who ended his life back in 2014. During his short lifetime, he wrote some wondrous poems. The poems were about the hard and unforgiving lives of the workers. The song's name is a reference to one of his poems: "I swallowed a Moon Made of Iron" He was born only two weeks after I came to this world and while I was living an easy life my parents provided me, he lived in the shadows of factories, enslaved by corporations blinded by avarice. He was a beautiful person in a fucked up world.
