Her reasoning was that it allows a check via Qc6 for white. After that you would have to block with queen or knight or move away so I tend to agree that Nc5 doesn't really work.
So glad I got in on the early bird chess up 2 Kickstarter, awesome campaign, (accessories galore and cheaper than ever, haha), will have my board in 2 days or so, insanely fast turn-around on the campaign from Jeff and all. Maybe then I might finally play against another person online instead of bots and puzzles

52:56 you had a rook sacrifice on f7 to bring the bishop into h5 and get a queen and leads to checkmate

Also at 1:02:42 I think she coulda moved bishop to f8 protecting checkmate, threatening the queen and freeing the rook
That's a pretty neat idea, and I didn't even consider it. However White might be able to take on f8 with the rook followed by Be6+ 🤔
Does the board has a mode that only shows the quality of the move after it has been executed and then allows to take it back ?
