An iconic part of his backstory put into movesets.
One of the benefits of the new voice work is that Dio's voice actor made the voices of his various incarnations more distinct.
I don't think there's anything different, it's for the game that the new version looks more fresh and very customizable to play it
Oh wow I didn’t even realize they had Koyasu re-record his lines. His Part 1 Dio sounds a lot more unhinged now, and Diego sounds young and cocky. it’s really good.
I still prefer the ps3 vos
The best part about this is that any version of Dio whatsoever is bound to be voiced by Koyasu as shown with Diego. So if there's any more alternate universes with an alternate version of Dio, We all know Koyasu will be there to provide his voice. well except a female counterpart.

The fact that DIO's great attack does less damage to Jotaro because he managed to escape is a really nice detail. Love this game
Only applies to Part 3 Jotaro. 4taro doesn't apply to this advantage
I think that Jotaro can only take less damage if he spends a portion of his Heart Heat Gauge, otherwise he takes the same damage everyone else does, but with a different animation. Take this with a grain of salt, though, I'm not 100% certain this is the case in All Star Battle R

@@leonmystique9372 makes sense though!! Original jotaro managed to escape because he didn't stop time until he really had to to defend himself then had time to spare to escape while dio used a lot of his longer time stop to get the road roller
Jotaro 4 has a lower amount of time stop since he hadn't been fighting or training at all in the time between the parts so he would barely have time to defend himself at all, and definitely wouldn't outlast DIO's stopped time so he'd just be crushed
I don't think this is reflected with their ingame timestop lengths but it makes sense from an in universe perspective

@@U.S.G Eh depends on how you take it pretty sure Araki himself said it’s really up to the reader themselves if they want to think of it as canon or not. Novel is good enough that the community as a whole pretty much accepts it so I’m not really bothered about canon. I mean for christs sake even the anime took a note from it and basically gave Fugo the backstory from feedback.

I didn’t think Prosciutto would be using Mista’s gun in this game but that is awesome

Detail of the meter being frozen in stopped time even when Jotaro uses his meter to stop DIO's GHA was a nice added touch

I think that might have been because it was at max. When other characters use specials (besides ones that drain meter instead of using it all up) it stays at max instead of going down for a second like in the original ASB

I just love how with Kira’s GHA, Sheer Heart Attack just casually rolls across the ground then pops up and when it gets near the opponent
You'll love it until it chases you online with its unblockable ass
@@PunnyFuzz it makes sense that its not blockable, not even Jotaro could really destroy it in the anime and his Stand is in terms of power one of the strongest

For a brief moment, Jonathan recreates the scene where Dio hits him with the technique on the ship, hitting his neck, and he mutters "Erina..."

The voice cracks were so annoying, everytime you'd get SaW in a Roblox JoJo game it was torture. Sounds so much better now

I really don't get how everyone liked his stand rush in the original, before this game came out everyone was agreeing that the one from Eyes of Heaven sounded a lot better, but now suddenly everyone misses his stand rush from ASB

they could've at least added another stage from part 8, like the hospital with WoU in the background or something like that
I was really hoping for more part 8 rep, hopefully we get some as DLC, maybe Joshu will come back, or maybe they'll add in someone different, Tooru would be a banger character ngl
This game is honestly really good In terms of gameplay and fanservice.
And the roster is incredible.
I just wish the netcode was good cause a bad netcode makes games die very quickly and rightfully so.

From what I gather if your running on toaster wifi it's bad, just get ethernet or get better wifi
@@mrplayfulshade1038 nah, the net code is bad. I play on Ethernet and have pretty good internet and anyone outside of east coast is a rough connection
@@Connard15 I haven't had any issues so far, the only bad game I had was with a friend 30 min from me and he uses wifi instead of ethernet. I've played with friends across the world and didn't have any issues so Im not sure how these issues are happening. Might be more than just netcode

Tbh, I liked PS3 version of this line - Jotaro was pissed there, but here.... I dunno, not really feeling like it.
The GHAs do way more damage than they did in the ps3 version, especially the counters, i hope they fix that
