Gunslinger was a great rank bull but Bodacious was just so special. He scared the riders and was so dangerous he was retired in his prime. He was the rankest bull ever.
Bo bucked that’s without saying, but he never sired anything better then him, Gunslinger sired world champion bulls and is a Grandsire or great Grandsire of 100’s of high caliber bulls.
Bodacious is a one of a kind. Never seen a bull wanting to take the rider out while still on him like that. Hell bent on destroying a rider. Sad but true to retire him when they did. He would have eventually killed someone. Hats off to you bodacious RIP
All I have to say is has there ever been another bull forced to retire because of being too dangerous? If not then it’s pretty clear who is the greatest
Bodacious was truly ahead of his time, he invented a number of bucking techniques that are still being used today. His influence in the training and breeding of bucking bulls is undeniable. With that said a great rodeo requires dozens of excellent bulls and cowboys - and it's a good thing there is only one Bodacious, or else the rodeos would have to shut down!
No bull had the fear factor like Bo. He'd rearrange your face. Might have killed someone if they hadn't retired him. Almost got Tuff. The absolute, baddest bull ever!
@@chrismoyers4382 The difference between Bodacious and the other bulls is that cowboys got bucked off the other bulls, with Bodacious they jumped off (or never got on). He was the Barry Bonds of bucking bulls.
@@darthscipio5289 , Bo knew his physics - that animal proved time is relative cuz 8 seconds became impossibly long and he knew about application of momentum and force in relation to a cowboy's bones and internal organs.
Bodacious easily, but Gunslinger was the prototype of the modern bull. Grasshopper was actually better than Gunslinger also. GS was very flashy and fun, but easier for elite guys to ride than the other two. Bo and several of the great old bulls would be eliminators today; they would score lower now, but those types of bulls are as hard to ride now as then. What is your criteria for "great?" Around 2000, bull riding, in the PBR particularly, became as much about aesthetics as level of difficulty. Survival of the Fittest became Survival of the Most Marketable. That said, if you think guys today - under old American rodeo rules and deprived of their soaking propensities - would easily cover Bo, Pacific Bell, Mr T. etc., you would be incorrect.
Bodacious all the way, gunslinger was well riden by few including TDW who scored 3-3 Wichita in 93 and 95 and in salt lake in 96 bodacious was a bull on like no other I’d say the best competition for gunslinger would be vio doo or at least farmington
Bodacious wouldn’t even be invited to the PBR today or the past decade for that matter. Gunslinger and Bo are two of the greats but neither are the best ever. Gunslinger would be a short go bull in the PBR now, but I doubt the guys would be over 85 on him now. Not saying either are bad, just saying they aren’t the best ever. Bruiser, Airtime, Bushwacker, Brutus, Smooth operator, both Gansters, both Legits, Astroid, Hocus Pocus, Big Black just to name a few today are consecutively over 90 in today’s world.

@@DanielSong39 Bodacious is the smartest bull ever; His IQ as a bull would rank as an Eistein of Bulls

@@brittanybecker170 LOL; I coudn't have said it better myself
Gunslinger was a legend, no doubt about it. But Bodacious the greatest of all time.
I totally agree gunslinger is my personal favorite but bodacious made rank bulls look normal
Bodacious greatest ever. Period.
Bodacious. None better!
Which one was retired because because was too dangerous?
If the three time World Champion won’t ride you then Bo you have officially won
Bodacious
Tuff was yellow and we were chanting it till the anouncer talked over us. Tuff wasn't tough at all.
The only Bull that comes close to BO is Bushwacker.
