Hey question~! How OP would the boss general be in PvP? is it like- any good? or is the lack of the full upgrades and mish mash end up making it bad? Or does having king raptors+ everything else end up making it the MOST op? If so, what are the biggest factors? Asking since I haven't played competively and I Don't understand too well about the game. I've played when I was a kid but... I was a kid back then! I'd love to hear what you think.@@LegionnaireGenerals
It would have to depend on the player. This unique tech tree, in the right hands, has the potential to end the game early. If you turtle, you could also lose to late game tech. Laming is your best friend with this tech tree, and you will have to become as annoying as the AI Boss General.

Well... there's a certain fellow called "CncHD" who is the master of single player. As I recall he used to place scaffolds in certain places in both laser and SW challenges right before the PUCS hit to trick the AI to hit these instead of the finished buildings. When the timers reset he instantly canceled the scaffolds! He saved a shit ton of money and calmness! GGs!

To be fair she is actually really easy if you know a couple tricks for her. 1 at the beginning don't build anything but power plant next to command center. Go south of that and build barracks and get about 5 rpg going. Stick 2 next to command center and 3 spread out just to the west of it. The supply center should go west of barracks but big enough gap to not allow a10 strike to hit both. Don't build it just scaffolding until a10 strike and cancel build. After the a10 then build supply center. After apache attack place rpg spaced out around the west side of command center. The aurora attack will focus on them and just remember to replenish as needed. I usually keep 6 rpg or so out there to keep the aurora busy. After that get oils and protect the far north west from a Chinook attack. Capture the artillery platform and kill the sentry drone by the supply crates. Scaffolding a power plant on the beach to the east of the supply crates. This will attract 2 of the particle beams. Scaffold a barracks to the west and slightly north of the command center to attract the 3rd particle. You can cancel both building easily as long as you pay attention and replace right after. After all that is set up you can use whatever attack strategy you like. The a10 is the only wild card she has After the rpg handle the aurora and the 2 scaffold building attract the particle beams.
That chinook from behind - it always brings a sniper along with other units. But one Gatling cannon is more than enough to forget about them)
yea but the gattling cannon will be firing on the chinook.. so ideally u have some ground-to-ground anti-troop. thats why i went for a bunker with mines, and i got an angry mob. i think that would be a good mix :)
@@LegionnaireGenerals yep, agree. But one of the advantages of the Gatling is that it sees a hidden units, even lotos. And two canons could don’t allow chinook even to drop the troops))))
"if you fail to plan, you plan to fail" this is very true here, because you really need to plan for every sucker punch she does and redirect it towards single infantry units and scaffolds you put up and then cancel right before the PC

building two barracks on top side of your command center. one almost even with cash pile then one even or a lil closer to the water than your CC. she will always hit closest barracks every time as long as you rebuild or repair it

Superweapon General Challenge isn't as hard as it looks if you analyzed her attack pattern. Her first attack would always be 3 comanches and A10 strike. So you need to set up AA defense tower very quick around your CC. And since the A10 starts after around 10 second after particle cannon starts counting(and every 4 minutes), which always target the area with most unit/structure gathered, preferably supply center, so you need to build many supply center scaffolds and then sell those before A10s hit. Next, upgrade capture building as soon as possible, and capture the artillery platform. Then the comanches would more likely to attack the aera around the artillery platform so AA is needed there. Then you need to concern about the incoming particle cannon, which can be baited by building scaffolds on the artillery island and sell it after it fires. The cannon is preferred to target power, supply and high-tech buidings, (mostly power-supply-power if 3 fires together). As for the auroras, just place your cheapest infantries, scattered on the beach, to bait the bomb. Then use the general's power to destroy the supply center then the airfield/stratage center (she cannot rebuild airfield without supply center). Besides, if you do not have something in the left area of supply dock, the aurora attack could be less frequent. Last, watch out for the Chinook drop at the north-west, south-west and south of your base island.
Fun fact legi she doesn’t care about the oils i captured them early and they didn’t get touched
Ps: i thought me retrying so much was me being bad but she’s just built different :D
And from memory, the particle cannon always does an S shape and it's in one or two spots always, with little variation. So you can predict her attacks
oh i guess i misremembered.. yeah i was just a bit worried.. if i lost any of the oils i captured, i would have had a much harder time. and yeah, she's tough.. restarting a couple times is normal haha
You can stop the A10s by spamming avengers with PDL
I don't think i ever did this on hard. But i do remember making lots of anti air along the coast and it kept most of her attacks at bay. I also captured her particle cannon on the first island
yeah she sells it in hard difficulty. apparently u have to destroy the defenses, and then instantly come in with a Black Lotus capture.. i just waited a bit too long :/

Would it not have been easier to get Nukes earlier, and put a Gat/Tunnel in the southwest?
It been 15+ years ago but im pretty sure the game was programmed in a way that if you lose a challange twice in a row it goes easier on you with your next play, that would explain the lack of attacks at the start of round 3
My strat was simply spam mobile AA on the northern shore. Replace as needed. Oil derricks are safe from her attacks, so feel free to capture those. Stabilize your economy here.
Caution should be taken when advancing to take out the SE Particle Cannon, she'd dispatch an infantry team via chinook (cue: Attack Pattern Alpha).
The rest should be predictable enough at this point.
You need to lure the A10 by building a few buildings and cancel the scafholding. 2nd, you need to lure the comanches to attack the command center
yeeee but i dont wanna cheese the AI.. at least.. not like that :P .. idm taking the blow and trying to recover. it adds to the challenge :D

The chinook coming from the East went right across the bottom edge of the map so your gat couldn’t see it. Then it landed the sniper on the West side of your base and killed your hackers.
alexander gotta be the professional yapper until you nuke her power reactors
The comanche are there to guard the oil and supply crate. They don’t attack until you go over there.

Gg Legi what a challenge. I can say Gen. Alexander in hard difficulty is a challenging one. I had to finish a challenge with her in hard difficulty as Toxin. I stabilized and will preprare to attack.
yeee she's tough. in fact, i restarted this challenge more than i restarted the demolition challenge 😅
True bro. Gen. Alexander sends units, particle cannons, and her general powers a lot makes her strong. Plus as the player starting base is restricted tons of turrets hehe.

noooo this was the first time i didn’t make it while the vid was being premiered 😢, a pity that the last challenge was the one i couldn’t watch live, is it the last challenge or you gonna do a mirror match and play the boss map as the boss herself?

I know this is an old video but i usally have a scaffold barracks to take the aurora hits it helps allot
You need to spread rangerd to lure the auroras. Also you need to know she particle and A10 the last buildings you build
yea it would have helped me a lot in the beginning. mind u, the command center strat in the mid-game worked out very well :)
i'm not sure if she hits the last buildings.. the particles seemed to only hit my power after a while.. never anything else. and the A10s often went for supply centers or production buildings
@LegionnaireGenerals I replied about this in a different comment. It tells you all her little tricks and how to deal with it.
Keep the supply center a bit back from the supplies so that the trucks don’t die when the center gets hit.

This mission is so painful/boring as GLA. Also I think it’s shockwave mod (that also unlocks the GLA and USA boss generals) but it gives her fuel air bomb AND MOAB. That is brutal

yet there's a bug where ai missile defender just launch at the range and the speed of laser lock
random Fuel Air Bomb (the one that u can turn into moab) randomly respawn inside ur base without Them having command center or strategy center xD
Main thing with super weapon is you have to bait attacks on the supply. Also the chinook went below because it’s a thing you can do with waypoints in worldbuilder

How can you use that general?
There is a KI bug. just build a barrack in front of your base right side. and she will double particale this barrack all the time. later you can expand and build any supply @ second grade stack. she will shoot this also.
The second trick. build first supply in an open field. and sell it after 10 seconds. so the first A10 attack a empty field.

Theres one more. Put RPG inf spread Out in Front of your Base and the Aurora will shoot them all the time
This map is sadly all about trial and error and trying to fool the AI as you figure out its scripts. There are challenges and then there are "gotcha" maps and this is definitely one of the latter...
BTW, I think I'd go cash bounty instead of artillery once you hit rank 3, Auroras give a lot of cash when they're killed and hackers are just so susceptible to comanches and drops on this map.
yea it is a bit like a "gotcha" map.. especially in the beginning with the early attacks. also that attack where the chinook flies off-map to then attack your base in the corner.. ye.. not cool. that being said, i managed to endure all the attacks without 'cheesing' the AI, so i'm still quite happy with that :)

legi, when i play this challenge as boss general, she didn't activate the particle cannon, is this a bug? or what...
the last challenge Leang VS Leang also little bit tricky, (+) we have her upgrade on early game like chain gun, subliminal, overlord upgrade and a lot more, but here's the ( - ) we can't reset her superweapon time, because if we destroy the bunker nothing will happen, but i can easily beat her because angry mob alr have upgrade Ak-47, so i just spam angry mob to stop her tanks... even overlord or gats can't resist angry mob damage 😂😂
remember to destroy her airfields untill she not rebuild it, once u destroy the airfield, there's no more MiG and also she can't rebuild the superweapon.
try downloading it and reinstalling it. i've updated the files in the meantime, these issues should be fixed, both for super weapon general, and boss general :)

You have hackers not hacking!
yea i gotta work on that >.< .. sometimes i see them and i dont tell them to start hacking cuz they would be within clusters of others that are hacking. so i dont feel like clicking on each one and telling them to hack. i like the lazy approach: wait till u have a bunch of hackers not hacking, then select all hackers u have, and tell them to start hacking. the downside of this is that all existing hackers stop for a second, and then start hacking again. it's not ideal, but it does work. but yea i gotta work on this >.>
1.well first thing first u need to start build the supply center but do not finsh it when the a10 strike come cancle it as fast lose nothing in this way
2. do not cross the supply depote with any unite cuz there is 3 comanches w8ting instead w8 untill 3 min to cross the supplyt depot they ganna leave soon
3. while u w8ting build barrack close to mountain a bit more in back closing on the mountain instead of ur war factory when u build it at min 9:15 of video cuz that spot will be 100% target for her first superweapon and when she fire first one second one will come online so that will be 2 superweapon aiming on one spot that the barricks is on
4. time for war fouctry to be build that will be in early after like 12 second of ur barrack build it in the bottom near mountain the only use for it is to buld stingers only spread ur stingers away from each other and building when def cuz u know arura spread damge do not buld anti air they cost to much and cant kill the aircraft that fast so stinger is cheaper at that time u can now capture ur oile
5. one last when ur base start to grow she well send usa supply carry at the back of ur map if u have at least one building in the back if u dont have bulding in the back she will drope them near ur barrack and ur warfactory so have one building in back of the map and 2 stinger

yeah that's the thing.. i dont really know what she does.. i just go in, try my best, and see how it goes 😅 .. the corner base attacks did an insane amount of damage to the hackers. also the early aggression with the A10s and first bunch of Alpha Auroras was very intense. i've watched Sketch ( www.youtube.com/@SketchTVGaming ) who is an absolute legend, and he basically dances with the AI, taking barely any losses.. i've seen him do tricks with scaffolds, and placing building in the perfect locations. for speedrunners i think that's great. but i think there's also a challenge in absorbing all the blows, and still trying to get back on top of things :)

U should use king raptor to destroy the supply ASAP.. and artillery to the airfield... U will save from alpha from that😊
