    I have watched this video a couple times now and I love it! I’m learning to crochet just to make that hat! I’ve watched lots of granny square videos and tried all the techniques but I love the way yours turned out the most! I know English isn’t your first language you explained better than lots of the other videos I’ve seen. You slowed down at the perfect times and I was able to follow along without having to pause a lot!

    I’m working through this pattern (loving it so far!!) but I am wondering something- is the short side of the granny square (the side without the chain) the top or the bottom of the hat?
    I’m a little bit confused if the short side is getting the row of single crochets, or the long side? My tails for joining the granny squares are hanging down to the long side, but yours seem like they’re up to the short side when you did the sc row, so I think I’ve mixed myself up 😆

    • @kokkosknit
      @kokkosknit  Год назад +1

      Hello! I'm glad you like it:)
      The short side of the granny square should be matched with the top of the hat! And as you finished the last rnd of the motif with no chain on the last side, which is gonna be the top of the hat, the tails should be hanging up to the short side!

    • @kokkosknit

      Omg I'm facing the same problem the tail ends at the short side for each motif. But when we combine the motifs, the tail end up on the long side. So when we do the big sc row, we're stitching the longer side that is supposed to be the lower part of the motifs... I'm just very confused now 😢
