What is UK's proposed Assisted Dying bill?

Labour MP Kim Leadbeater has introduced a bill in the parliament called Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill - this bill if passed would make it legal for over-18s who are terminally ill to be given assistance to end their own life.
Both the British Medical Association which represents doctors, and the Royal College of Nursing have neutral positions on assisted dying.
