I love Anything by David Sedaris. He is the only author whose books I have read over and over. If I am having an anxious night and need to distract my mind I listen to a audio book with him reading and find him soothing and distracting in a good way😅
FACTS! Have you seen him Live ? My daughter and I have been lucky enough to have seen him in "concert" in Ann Arbor & Detroit, Michigan. Even got his autograph.. Fascinating author.

What I find so exceptional about David is how he tells us about his flaws, his pains, his slightly disfuntional family, his aspirations that never came to be...that vulnerabillity is what draws us in to his stories. Very recognizable and immensly funny.
David's stories mostly have to be read by David. No one can create the lovely, self deprecating way he shares them. It doesn't transfer to print for me. When he does, I usually piss myself laughing.
