The one thing I don’t understand is how the fluid Flubber on the bottom of his shoes were “pulling him”. He’d be just dangling until he lets go and falls flat on his face instead of flying backwards into the seats.
The bungee cord was stretched to the limit at the basketball hoop. Then if you recall from earlier, he dried off his hands by wiping some of the fluid Flubber onto the seat of his pants, thereby bouncing and flying backwards when he landed. Even as a kid, I thought the same thing you did, "wait, how'd he fly backwards?" then I figured it out after a few years!
Garren Lazar I always figured after wiping the wet water using his pants after he was spraying the basketball. I also figured because the floor would be wet because of the fluid Flubber on the bottom of his shoes. That might’ve played a factor in it too.
he took his own life because of his Depression had taken it's toll (Like *Leslie Cheung did in 2003) *ruclips.net/video/Vw-h4F6zINw/видео.html Leslie Cheung's suicide note (translation): "Depression! Many thanks to all my friends. Many thanks to Professor Felice Lieh-Mak (Cheung's last psychiatrist). This year has been so tough. I can't stand it anymore. Many thanks to Mr. Tong. Many thanks to my family. Many thanks to Sister Fei (Lydia Shum). In my life I have done nothing bad. Why does it have to be like this?"
I'm sad he's not with us, yes.. but it's good to come back once n awhile down memory lane.. Mr. Williams was the man, who can make you cry make you laugh and courageous all in the same movie. We miss you 🥀 RIP
I cried in laughter, couldn't breath, lying flat on my back and swinging my legs up in the air when I first watched this! Especially the part when his leg keeps bouncing repeatedly until he flipped like a clown! LOL
I laughed myself silly when he fell back as he thought that huge sack of sand was coming towards him until landed above him towards that wall! LOOK OUT!!!! 2:49 Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
This basketball scene from Flubber is my favorite scene, I do like how he grabbed onto the basketball hoop until he went backwards until a huge sack of flour was coming towards him.
The first Batman movie by WB. Directed by Tim Burton, with Jack Nicholson as the Joker. When Robin is holding onto the hoop and the bungie pulling him away, it's the same situation Joker was in right before he lost his grip and died from the fall.
@@dr.madhouse5483 Coincidentally, Robin Williams actually was one of several different actors considered for the Joker before Jack Nicholson got the part
Yeah, and, because they made that offer first to him, and only after Jack said yes to the Joke mr they brushed Williams aside, which is why he NEVER worked with Warner's brothers in all his life.
I know it’s a kids movie, but come on. Just because he can jump high doesn’t mean when he came back down he wouldn’t experience a shock of destruction throughout his shins and knees
I'd be surprised if this film aired on Nickelodeon/Nick @ Nite "I know Jumanji aired on that channel even though that's owned by Tristar Pictures/Columbia Pictures, but I still rest my case".
Hands down the greatest film ever made.it is the standard by which I judge all others.
Robin William, you are a legend.
Yes he is
2:38 "Help!" I could listen to that line 100 times and laugh harder every time I hear it!

That would be wonderful, if God could bring Robin Williams back from the dead and everybody else who died at a young age.

I don’t want him back I think we should let him rest he took his own life for a reason so I think we should respect that though I wish he didnt

NickyHelp I remember spraying water on my shoe if that would happen when I was a kid. lol obviously it never worked. ha ha
That's because the water was not fluid flubber. Water doesn't work like that.

Relax Julien Torres . I was not judging or criticizing you. I was only telling like it is in a humorous way. Give me a break.
