I'm going to age myself a little, but I tried like crazy to learn this dance step in 1990. I had a friend who felt so sorry for me that I couldn't get the coordination to do it. She tried a few times to teach me, but it was too frustrating for both of us. Anyway, now that you broke it down to slow mo, I'm going to try it again. Hopefully it will work out this time! 😊
I grew up in the 70's and 80's. The Roger Rabbit didn't become popular until the late 80's into the beginning 90's. It fizzled out when the Macarena and other popular line dances came along.
Not a very good way to explain but a good attempt. The best way to begin explaining this dance is to tell the person that they are replacing their left foot with their right foot by swinging it backwards, without touching ground, then swing it forward to replace their left foot. This automatically would mean they would need to kick their left foot/leg forward in order to do this. Once understood, everything else(body movements,etc.) would make sense to them after this.
it's a pretty corny dance nowadays without that....i think she's contractually obligated to give it a bit more credibility my corny is too strong...wholesome

I’d rather do this dance then go to therapy, it’s so much fun as it doesn’t seem like work.I just thought I’d watch your instructions many years ago when I learned this dance it took me a long time I remember that to learn it
