D&C 6-9: Beyond Come Follow Me

Just at the moment when Joseph Smith needs a scribe, the Lord is preparing Oliver Cowdery to fill that role. The story of getting this two together, for the translation of the Book of Mormon is miraculous. Everything was set up perfectly by the Lord!

Sept 22, 1827 (Rosh Hashanah) - Joseph Smith receives the plates.
April 5, 1829 (Second Passover) - Oliver Cowdery comes as a second chance to be able to be a scribe.
June 11, 1829 (Shavuot/Pentacost) - The book of Mormon translation is completed. This is the same day that Moses receiving the Torah from Mount Sinai is celebrated.
The Book of Mormon is the modern Torah.
