- Toni Frissell was a photographer interested in raising the profile of women. She said, “I have always admired strong women, women of adventurous mind, women active in doing original things.”
She photographed fashion and adventure around the world between 1930-1970 and influenced future generations of photographers, even if her name isn't as well known, which it definitely needs to be!

What a powerful archive. Gracias for putting this together she's definitely a pioneer and legend.
Great coverage of the personal and body of work of a woman photographer I've never heard before but has done many pretty iconic stuff!
I hate when youtubers show only their faces talking and 10 photos for 2 seconds each in the whole presentation of a photographer. Also many ignore the personal life which plays a big role in every artists point of view and creative choices.
Guess it pays to be a NEPO baby! The work is absolutely innovative.
That’s the literal definition of a nepo baby 😭😭. Yes, I’m glad she did something worthwhile with it!
what a life !
VERY cool person. Wish we could’ve hung out.
