Standing trackside at 3 or 4 nationals a year it's interesting to hear the lappers over revving the motor everywhere and going nowhere. Watching this review reminded me of that fact. For god's sake they put a shifter on the bike for a reason..The fast guys have a good ear for how the motor is pulling and shift BEFORE it starts to fall off. By the way the stock fork on the prior model came from the factory with a top out clunk,. No one wanted to admit it. (450 also) Hope Honda fixed that issue, so annoying.
Looks like the tallest bike on the planet 🙂Hard to buy into "stiffer to make it softer" idea. Especially given you're testing it on a groomed track. Time will tell.
Lmmfao!!!!!! This is the most clown ass response I’ve ever heard these dudes are always bias the bias they use are what’s new? If it’s not new and perfect they rate it lower you could run the best version Ktm ever had and if they didn’t update something they’ll place it second to last 😂 foh

When you have a softer frame it will push energy off more which made the current generation less predictable because you don’t know how the energy will give off and when. With the new generation the frame is stiffer so it can take and absorb energy better making it more predictable giving off less energy when going over bumps or landing.
Nice bike love it.
Right on!
‘89-‘90 HONDA vibes? Not even close, man. More like ‘82-‘84 CR looks and l love it! It blows that it is 5 pounds heavier though…
You're probably right with the correct era
Probably feels 5 pounds lighter with the better mapping
I still have my 1983 cr80r I got when I was 9 years old never been able to get rid off it, I'm getting a 2025 250rx
@@jpesicka492 We’ll see, but more weight is never good regardless of how centralized it is…
Wasn't the crank changed, too? What about the internals of the forks? What about headshake? Thanks for the video.
Yes the crank is a bit lighter than the previous gen. For settings are updated to match the new frame as well.
Too funny! All these bike reviewers are hating on the retro style shrouds and my 41 year old ass is loving the new look!!
They are growing on us!
all i care about is my knee does not catch in the shroud when i squeeze the tank now.
tim ferry? who is Trey canard lol?
beautiful, too bad it costs a fortune... nobody needs 4strokes!

Honda hasn't won a shootout in how long, 17 years? They can beat Suzuki, but that's about it.
