Agreed. It will be 43 years for us in September. Early on we were told that the proof of a good team is being able to hang wallpaper together. We did that then, and we still work well together. I got a peach! 💖

I feel sorry for the sheep with mastitis. I had it too, while nursing my daughter. I felt awful and the only thing that helped was antibiotics. I hope wooly mama is soon feeling better. Sandy, the way you love and care for your sheep is amazing.

Hi Sandi! I’ve been watching you for quite some time now and followed Jess’ cancer journey! Well 2 days ago I checked into the emergency Romo in Victoria, BC, as I had been ill and thinking it was pneumonia. Well it was in fact pneumonic,but blood test showed an even scarier result. I had leukaemia. With in a few hours I was airlifted via bc ambulance helicopter to Vancouver General Hospital. The put me on chemo orally as soon as I arrived. I had a bone marrow biopsy(not fun) yesterday so now waiting on final results as to exact kind of leukaemia… they believe it’s acute myeloma leukaemia. This has been fast and scary. The oncologist and your Jess have given me much hope I can beat this. I am a 55 year old grandmother with 2 daughters, 2 grandkids and an amazing husband!

It's a lot of work! My husband and I used to run a sod installation business and I also helped our partners (the ones that grew the sod) with harvesting. That was all a lot of work, but I think Sandy does more than I did! I'm a stay at home mom now. While I really miss the manual labor and being outdoors all the time, I'm also very grateful that I get to watch my son grow up❤

Warmth is great. I also discovered that as the baby fed, I gently applied pressure with the palm of my hand to the tender area, which made the breast release from that area first. Saved me a mountain of trouble.
Of course, watching a Sandi video comes before washing floors! I have a lot of empathy for that poor ewe with mastitis - it bloody well hurts! Add a kid that couldn't latch properly and use your imagination. Bless you, Sandi, for the compassion you show for all your animals and people in your life. Is it just me, or does anyone else feel pain when they see Sandy and Carissa hop/walk over the fencing and gates for the sheep. My groin muscles and legs would not let me do that more than once.
I’m a whopping 4’10.5” tall - so I REEEEEALLY cannot imagine just popping over those fences the way Sandi and Carissa do. Hmm, if I decide to become a sheep farmer, I guess I’ll have to look at mini sheep (and low fences) :-)

I have NEVER heard Sandi or Rex mention that Marge has hernias. All I've ever heard was she has excess fluid in her abdomen and that it doesn't bother her in any way. I discovered something when feeding one of my kids and would start to get a sore area. When I fed them on that breast, I very gently applied pressure with the palm of my hand to the tender part as the baby was feeding, which caused the breast to release the milk from that area first. Saved me a lot of issues. I fed 6 kids but with just one of them I would start to get the sign of impending mastitis. And we won’t even go into cracked nipples! 😭😭😭 again only one baby. (Positioning). You’re right it is horrendous. 🇳🇿

Spent my youth thinking I was a forklift and backhoe trying to "do my part" of the heavy work. Now at 73 my back is DONE. 😢

From an old video, I believe Sandi is 5'9" or 5'10", and Carissa seems about the same. Jess is an inch or 2 taller.

I have NEVER heard Sandi or Rex mention that Marge has hernias. All I've ever heard was she has excess fluid in her abdomen and that it doesn't bother her in any way. I watch Kiwi Farmer and similar comparison re the percentage of views to likes. I can never understand it.
Why? to encourage factory farming? There is absolutely no grazing for these poor confined sheep. When you hear them bleat they are NOT happy! Might I suggest you encourage people to buy from puppy mills too? It is the same damn thing.

I discovered something when feeding one of my kids and would start to get a sore area. When I fed them on that breast, I very gently applied pressure with the palm of my hand to the tender part as the baby was feeding, which caused the breast to release the milk from that area first. Saved me a lot of issues. I fed 6 kids but with just one of them I would start to get the sign of impending mastitis. And we won’t even go into cracked nipples! 😭😭😭 again only one baby. (Positioning). You’re right it is horrendous. 🇳🇿
