Hi all,
This song was born from the single glassy like melody you can hear after the main chorus. Id just received a new MIDI controller for Christmas last year and was just tinkering around and until that melody just appeared, I put a beat over it and it inspired me to explore what a dark & moody / expensive nightclub / cinematic synth track could sound like.
Really hoping that the time away in the Synth Dojo can be heard in the hopefully higher quality production, arrangement and sound in this one. I've had quite a bit of IRL stuff going on lately but things are settling down now and I feel ready to dive back into working on my first full length record.
This song ( distraction ) was something i needed but didn't realise at the time to help push me past a sort of creative barrier, to improve my skills, tool choices and overall production knowledge. All of which will absolutely benefit my future projects.
