I love anime with no easy gimmicks for animation. No CG, no blurry effects, ... It's so fresh to see true organic and physic animation !! This song is awesome to, love the way it's used in the anime. I never know it was a Joe Hisaishi song ... good to know. :p
except anime is nothing but gimmicks to give the illusion of movement. its completely different than traditional animation purely because of budget constraints. it wasnt until the mid 80s when the talent and techniques we know and love were developed. watch an old episode of speed racer or star blazers and tell me im wrong. that was deff the foundation for something great later on tho thats for sure.

apparently Sentai has done new English Dub for this one with lines more faithful to the Japanese dub for the Blue ray release. Hope other older ones get new life as well.

@alexwribs19 Two-stroke is the best! The smell of the exhaust reminds me of old times when I got my Aprilia RS125!.... The smell of a new exhaust system to thouse bikes is priceless! If u have noticed in the movie also, they use 2-stroke! Exept for Mirandas purple bike + the army's monobikes:) Bikes = THE BEST! + Venus Wars = The best anime of my times at least! :)
