    That is the thing about riding, you get used to where you ride and condition yourself for that then when doing something else that you'r not used to it kicks your butt even though it might not be any harder.

    Copperhead, man bites dog, pack mule and texas sunset is legit. It's not your tires you just don't ride enough.

    I go to Dallas every July for my wife's job. I always hit Big Cedar the first day. It is such a great system. There is a Black Diamond area. I think it's called Pitbull. I can do some features but others are way over my skillset. The second day is the North Shore trail system on the north side of Dallas.(Flower Mound, TX) They have a varied level of trails there also.

    Looks like a sweet place to ride! Your correct on tire choice. I had a set of DHF/DHR on my 2022 Fuse. Awesome tires but real draggy!! Just installed a set of iliminators on it and the diff was killer! Plenty of grip but rolls so much faster!

    Good ride bruh, and don't feel too bad about the full face helmet out there. Everyone laughs until they lose a cheek bone in the rock garden ⛑️. Great job ! Keep doing it ! 👍

    Visit north shore in grapevine. There is an east and west side. West side is much more technical than east. Park either at MAAD trail head or Murrell park entrance to start in the middle and choose which side to hit first.
    Both sides total about 22mi.

      Which side has got the most features like jumps? Or is it mostly rocky/technical stuff?

    Thanks for the video! Dragonfly is the name of the trail that is ridden first in this video. It's one of the easiest. Ranger is also solid, more difficult for sure as it has more challenging technical features. The most difficult trails to the best of knowledge is S.O.S. There are also two free ride areas: Crazy Stain & M.U.T.T. It is a pretty confusing network of trails. There is a good bit of signage but it seems a but outdated. If you are using Trailforks its not updated as there are a bunch of trails out there not represented. Full face helmet definitely the move.

    So many splits in those trails I can see how you lost the locals🤣 Looks like a lot of features they just skipped over so plenty of exploring to do. Looks fun

    Awesome love Texas, nice trek , what size stem are you using? 50mm ?

    • @simonsays5979
      @simonsays5979 Год назад

      If it is stock still it is a 45mm. I have the same bike and I love it, I am not at all a skilled rider but the roscoe 9 has definitely helped boost my confidence on the trail. The only things I did to mine was change the grips and saddle and put 50mm rise 800mm wide bars on to better suit my riding position and I put the stem on top of all of the spacers instead of under the first 10mm spacer like it comes from the factory

    Ok , no need for a helmet on that trail . We ride Tx trails to warm up for Co. trails . P.S. use the chair lift .

    It looks like you hooked up with the local cross-country team! Ride fast, skip the jumps...Usually when you hit a table like that, it's at the bottom of a downhill so you carry a lot of speed. This is a flat track, so you have to think well in advance and build a lot of speed for it. But like you said, you might overburn it and land flat. It's a different kind of riding. You might have been down on energy too, visiting with family and being all fat and happy. It's all good, looks like you had fun! I'm surprised the guys you were riding with just dusted you like that though. Don't they know who you are? 🤣

    It’s not your tires. Xr4 are fast rolling, it’s your cardio and pace. It’s very different on flatter terrain. Also you cables are very long and causing noise in the video. They don’t need to be that long. Trim them and do some nice cable management get the cockpit clean, big part of you videos.
