Hi Rob, it was a pleasure meeting you. Thanks for highlighting JP Studio and June's sculpture paintings (pseudo-haptic abstract expressionism). We pride ourselves in explaining June's work and Carl's accompanying poetry to our visitors and welcome and invite people in without any pressure to buy anything. We love abstract art and believe our passion for it infects others. I've (Carl) worked in psychology education for years and understand the benefits that art has for many people. We have regulars who visit and stay with us for hours. New university students arriving at the city have spent time chatting with us, fellow artists and art teachers, tourist, and students from the nearby schools (a shout out to two high school students that chat to June while she works). I've performed my songs live to visitors, and juggle regularly in the store. Everyone is welcome and the diversity of our visitors is inspiring. Thanks again and we hope to see you and your followers. If you find out about JP Studio from Rob's video, please do let us know when you visit. All the best, Carl and June!❤
Hi Rob! Great video. Same as you, I’m not really big into art, but that place looks cool! I really like how you are searching out all different kinds of attractions. Your channel is becoming the go-to source for the greatest variety of things to see and do in Bangkok. Keep up the great work!👍👍👍
Thanks a lot! Even if something is not quite for me.. I can still go and explore.. share with you guys. And just like river city I might actually enjoy myself haha
I’ve seen this place so many times and now that you went I’m definitely want to check it out . The art work looked amazing and what a nice spot to have a cafe at Starbucks. Yet another fantastic Vlog already looking forward to the next . ✌️
Hi Paul, please pop up to the Artist In Residence area on the third floor and say hi when you come. I'm Carl from JP Studio and we love it when people visit and there's never any pressure to buy. Rob will agree that we're very welcoming to guests. All the best, Carl and June.
I can definitely recommend getting a drink at your location at 6:39 overlooking the Chao Praya while the sun is setting. I was at River City during the Lunar New Year before heading over to Iconsiam for the shows.
Great vid, again . Love you enthusiasm and curiosity. River City is one of my fav places, ( thanks for giving it away lol ) it’s so quirky and cool. Literally - perfect temp to get cool down . That art place is hilarious, I had to look twice when I saw it 🤣. They always have fun stuff on that makes you smile . I thinks it’s not so much about the art but it really reflects a lot about Bangkok. Again another originally video or genuinely great things to see in Bangkok. Hopefully more people will catch on and watch your vids , as they more original and genuine . It seems to me you explore Bangkok because you genuinely love it , want to know more about it, explore and share that . Far better than vids watching people eating 🤷♀️
Thank you so much! I’m obsessed with this city if you couldn’t tell already 😂 it’s always nice to recommend somewhere and for people to actually enjoy it as well
This area looks freakin AMAZING!! Can’t wait to check it out in December! Thanks for another awesome video, Rob! Have you moved to Rama 9 yet??? I’m counting on you for the full run down since you tweaked our interest to live in this area.
Moving there in November 👍🏻 Are you telling me you didn’t watch my Rama 9 video already? Haha 😂 I wanted to LIVE here... WTF is Phra Ram 9?! ruclips.net/video/9Q7B4_pEuiE/видео.html
That’s the video I watched that got me looking at condos in that area but now I need more!! I’ve watched ALL your videos, even the car ones and I don’t even care about cars 🤣
@@martinesykes655 Haha your a legend! I have toyed with making a separate car channel so you might be safe there lol I will 100% be doing a follow up Rama 9 Video when I start my search for a budget place close to the MRT.. Thinking around 13,000 baht
Hi Martine, please feel free to visit us in JP Studio on the 3rd floor. If you're coming in December, we're planning a big event of abstract art and performance. I'll make sure Rob knows all about it. Bangkok is a lovely city. If you've not been before, I'm sure you'll live it. Best wishes, Carl and June.
Another great video, I am on countdown to my next visit in September! Just one thing, is it me or did some of the background music sound as if it was jumping a little bit ......... Take Care - 🇹🇭
We welcome photography and filming at JP Studio. It was a pleasure meeting you and we recognise the publicity you've given us. Saying that, we know of another gallery on another site which has stopped people video blogging and instagrammers unless they ask for permission, after an art piece was destroyed (accidentally, I'm sure), but noone reported the incident to the owners. Also, during the past week, the string barrier in front of the big eyes and beak at River City has been broken multiple times and the stands that hold the barrier in place have been knocked over by people wanting to get close for the best shot. We get people trying to touch JP's art pieces because the material is unusual, and we now have samples for people to handle (made into little dogs.)

Loving the videos Rob. Been to BKK so many times, but you really open up a whole part of BKK I never knew existed. Thanks for putting up this content.
I love to share my good experiences of the city.. hoping to change peoples minds who “hate” Bangkok 😂
If you don't want to get stuck in a crowd, I recommend you guy to visit here on a work day morning. it's more peaceful.
Oh I bet! I will revisit when they change the exhibition over

It’s not you.. it’s an odd track.. was a nightmare to edit with actually. Making my own life hard with that one
Nice stuff m8...👍
Thanks for watching my man
@@ProjectBangkok great stuff m8 and the tunes are F.A.B... 😎
The shop owners are trying to prevent their artwork from being reproduced without permission and that is why they don't allow photos.
But anyone who had that intention could walk in and secretly film. Makes no odds at all
