I started a career in sales at young age, that was 9 years ago with no back ups and no connections, I'm not saying I'm that ultra successful now but we're getting there - already built network, acquired techniques, skills and experience...masasabi ko, it really boils down to your Attitude, Discipline, Mindset, Determination which common Filipino don't have, marami kasi sa mga kababayan puro excuses, undisciplined, arrogant and lazy. If you always turn up on time, get things done right, honest and truthful with all your dealings...it is not possible for you to get farther in life kahit saang lugar ka man, sa Pilipinas man o abroad.

I’ve always wondered why nurses/doctors/engineers there in the Philippines would rather migrate elsewhere when they can just stay there and enjoy the beauty of our tropical country. My husband and I plan on retiring there when the time comes. Pero ngayon na iintindihan ko na. Just like you said, there’s just not enough funding/jobs to equate the population of the Philippines. The country’s outdated laws need to get with today’s economic realities, otherwise talagang maiiwanan ang mga Filipino.
