Lets be fair, Jake has never fought an actual boxer. Also, while he deserves credit for beating two former UFC fighters, his fights prior to that were against another youtuber and a former NBA player. Therefore, if a former NBA player was able to step in the ring against him, I don't think there's a debate to be had that an actual boxer deserves to face him.
I love Geordie but my god on this topic he talks rubbish. Fury needs a knockout to get a Jake Paul fight? Has he seen Paul's opponents? He's fighting old blokes who are not boxers. If Jake is serious about being a boxer, he needs to fight a boxer. Tommy is the perfect opponent. If Jake wants to keep picking UFC fighters who he will probably beat, then great. More fool the people who actually think that it means something.
Fr man. idk why he thinks Tommy needs a knockout to "deserve" the fight. Both Askren and Woodley were on losing streaks and on a decline, nate and gib didn't even belong there. To top it all off, all of jake's opponents have been 0-0-0 in pro boxing.
@@swaggerjackish Askren and Woodley also had a few months of proper boxing training. Being good at UFC does NOT make you a good boxer. Different sports and skill sets. Jake has created an illusion where he fights UFC tough guys and people suddenly think he’s a good boxer. Sorry, but get him in the ring with Fury and he gets absolute schooled
honestly dont think geordie means a KO as a threat of skill or something but good for hype and promo i think Tommy’s performance was good enough, suppose he’s implying there aren’t enough people saying it would be 70 percent impossible for Jake to win
His best win is against a 40 year old retired UFC fighter. Admittedly Jake has proved he’s better than people thought at first but don’t act like he’s better than Tommy Fury ffs
Also him talking about not knocking the polish guy out straight away. By his logic every single boxing match that has a big puncher fighting should end in the first round 🤣🤣🤣
He talks about who has tommy fury fought which is fair enough, but jake paul has fought a youtuber, a retired basketball player, a retired wrestler with a hip transplant and a retired ufc fighter who's on the verge of 40

So this video is True Geordie critiquing Tommy Fury, a professional boxer with a record of 8 fights and 8 wins, whether HE DESERVES a fight against a delusional man-child that hasn't had a real boxing match in his life i.e. fought an actual boxer? Have I got that right? Seriously?
Yes it sounds ridiculous when you put it like that, but if we change the question to… “Does Tommy Fury deserve a million pound payday” then it sounds less ridiculous.
Go back and watch the Jake Paul Woodley 2 fight and most opinions would change. Jake looked terrible if I was a betting man I’d go for a Tommy win on points
Tommy would win by stoppage for me, jake suprised me with the knockout it was ruthless but he was scared to get hit by Woodley.. Tommy stopped the guy at the end of the day he's still learning hasn't even had 10 fights yet.
Honestly I still think Jake is trash, I’m not pro but I got 12 years experience, his punches look weak, doesn’t snap necks back with a jab or brake jaws on the back foot and he hasn’t fought a boxer who has trained the sport for 10+ years, he’s fought 2 retired small wrestlers in a boxing match a small mba player and 2 RUclipsrs lol people think he’s Ricky Hatton before mayweather lmao
I'm sorry Brian, but I thought Tommy put on a great performance in this fight! He showed improvements from the Anthony Taylor fight. People are just hating for the sake of it now. He's the next best opponent for Jake and I honestly believe when Jake comes up against a professional boxer, he will be stopped before the end of the fight.
he looks like the same exact fighter to me. crowds his punches, eats multiple right hands for no reason. no head movement, no power, couldnt knockout someone coming straight off of being knocked out by a journeyman. the only REAL improvement i've seen is that his jab seems to be a lot better, but then again it's easy to jab when there's no shots being thrown in return besides horrible lucky loopy slow punches from some loser with no power, 5% ko ratio in 10 fights vs paid losers with similar records to tommy furys previous opponents.
@@MezmerizedCA boxing isnt about knocking people out though is it,its about scoring and evading punches,he did a good effort in that fight, only thing i really seen that he could improve on was his timing and shot selection, still definitely improved though
The irony in downplaying Tommy’s opponent whilst effectively suggesting he isn’t worthy of fighting a guy who’s boxing career consists of fighting RUclipsrs and middle aged retired UFC fighters
@Wildcard Woodley has power yes, not much technique. Atleast Tommy is fighting actual boxers, something Jake Paul should do before chatting about being a boxer.
@Wildcard Woodley has like no technique, neither does Paul lol. And yeah Fury’s last opponent may have looked like a jobber but he has a record of 10-1, you don’t get that from being a pushover. Stop sucking Jake Paul off mate you’re not true geordie.
@Wildcard Yet Jake Paul isn’t a bum either? Jake fights 40 year olds who weigh 20lbs less then him lmaoo. This 10-1 dude atleast fighting people actually practicing the same sport as him
It’s weird… tommy beats Jake. Jake looked beyond shocking against woodley and has fought people who aren’t even boxers! He brags about beating Ben askren who can’t throw a punch
@Wildcard but that’s my point you have no idea how good Woodley is because he’s only ever fought Jake Paul. Anderson Silva has had boxing matches before Chaves Jr. Again who has Jake Paul beat? A RUclipsr, a basketball player, a retired wrestler and a retired MMA fighter
deserve? mate jakes a youtuber the question isnt should tommy be allowed to fight him its has jake got the balls to take on a real challenge. you also mention how this guy isnt a true 10-1 boxer but if so, why doesnt jake fight someone like that?? jakes opponments have been miles below this guys skill i mean come on nate, ben. tommy outboxes jake for 8 roounds and wins on points or maybe stoppage, get out of jakes arse
If hes saying 10-1 doesn't give Tommy credibility why would Jake then want to fight that same type of guy? Jake is a fighter, hes had licensed pro fights- let's not act like Woodley would be an underdog against Tommy's last opponent. Hes only 25 - guys like Wilder started at 20 but aren't labelled as whatever profession they had prior to that
@@MichaelET1 so being a licensed pro fighter gives you credibility now? jake has never fought an opponent with a single boxing win. these fights do give you credibility unlike what true casual says since boxing is their native sport and should therefore put up a fight. jake isn't a champ you don't need to earn a fight with him. true geordie just bum licks jake
Jake Paul has not only not fought an official pro boxer, he has not fought someone with an official pro win, his 5 opponents had a combined record of 0-1.
That's the stupidest narrative ever. It's stupid, but you are correct that casuals will consistently mention that Jake has never "fought a real boxer." Tommy's opponents are bums that aren't any better than Jake's opponents, but the casuals will say otherwise
I get your vested interest in complimenting the Paul brothers but the notion that any boxer has to show he "deserves," to step in the ring with a guy that hasn't even fought a boxer is a straight up insult to boxing.
I agree, but its more the popularity than anything. Lets face it, Jake Paul fills SEATS. Tommy Fury was so far down on that undercard he could have easily been missed. It would be a massive Payday for him if he were to fight Jake rn. I do think this is an interesting fight because both of their current hit lists have been arguable. Jake Paul fought people who are athletic, but were never known to be boxers. But he has fought decent fighters. Okay the Askren thing was a major mismatch considering Askren probably had the worst boxing ability in the UFC, maybe even MMA tbh. But Woodley was a good fighter. Sure, he only ever used boxing after disguising his wrestling takedowns or vice versa, but still, he had some ability. Tommy has fought boxers, or rather, people with boxing licenses. So it's kinda debatable who's actually got the better resume here.
How long have you been watching boxing? Getting a fight with Jake Paul is cashing a lottery ticket. Getting a fight with Tommy Fury is cashing a bus ticket

You have to do a video about the Taylor - Serrano fight, it felt like a historic moment for the sport and was one of the best fights I’ve seen in a long time
For Jake, its all about the numbers and if he thinks it will work, then he would probably go for it. But to fight Mike Tyson that is a few years from 60 would be a joke. Leave Mike Tyson to duke it out with Big John as an undercard that some people would watch, and Jake and Tommy main event it. Or Tommy moves on and tries to build on his career and skills.

Really feel like people have deluded themselves into this being a good matchup/thinking Jake wins, the keyword is boxing that's the difference between how they fight, who they have fought and how the fight goes down, I struggle to imagine any way Jake beats anyone who has put their life into boxing, he's used to punching bags not boxers who move that he'll struggle to touch. That isn't even a dig on Jake I wouldn't expect someone boxing for as little as he has to be in against professionals I think the route so far is smart and if he takes the Tommy fight then fair fucking play
bro who do u think tommy fury has been fighting? you think he's been fighting boxers? or bum punching bags with 1 win to 50 loss average records? even this last guy he just fought was a punching bag at 10-1, only beat other polish paid losers (0-34 records etc) like tommy fury does. the first time he fought someone who had any international experience with a positive record, he got knocked out. then months after being knocked out, he goes to fight tommy fury and tommy can't even hurt the kid. that polish guy has no knockout power, no boxing acumen, and tommy fury looked WEAK and HORRIBLE for someone who "dedicated their life to boxing". this fight was supposed to be an easy lay-up knockout on a "real boxer" with a "10-1" record and he couldnt even do that right. PLUS he got chinned by this loser with no power and had to clinch him. that's embarassing. this is why people say jake paul will knock him out. tommy fury IS NOT A REAL BOXER. i don't care how long he's been doing it. he SUCKS. he's defensively irresponsible. he has NO power. he basically goes life and death with loser journeymen, and gets chinned with right hands basically every time they're thrown. the guy he fought before this, jordan grant probably hit him with 15 overhand rights. some midget 145 lb mma fighter did the same. even this guy hits him with the same punch. none of those people had any power. if jake hits him with an overhand right, you've seen what happens to people he hits like that. sure, jake also IS NOT A REAL BOXER, and from what we've seen he SUCKS too, but you put two people at the same skill level, and one has power, and the other never protects himself, it's a recipe for a knockout.
Geordie, I like you, but if you're gonna judge someone's boxing skills based on stats of opponents he recently fought and not by the way he fought them than why even comment on it? Bocianski would smash all of Jake's opponents without breaking a sweat.

I DEFINITELY do agree Tommy needs to branch out from his Dad a little bit and start promoting himself and building himself up a lil more but I don’t understand Jake’s mentality in this…he was entertaining fighting Michael Bisping, a retired MMA fighter with 1 eye who’s over 20 years older than him, but NOT Tommy Fury, who he was initially scheduled to fight ANYWAY until Tommy had to pull out from injury. I understand Jake wants someone that can promote a fight and AGAIN I do agree that Tommy needs to step up to promote himself more but, competitively, Jake should see this as a golden opportunity; a stepping stone to show he can beat a boxer around his age and size rather than trying to cherry pick opponents who mostly have no interest in him.

Why is this even a question. Jake Paul hasn’t fought a boxer and tommy has the fury name trained since he was young and he just beat a 10-1 boxing opponent. Jake doesn’t have a resume to be put on a pedestal, only fans wise
So what ? .... Contuie to fight old dudes far smaller then him? Tommy taking this fight destroys any attempt at trying to compare opponants CVs lmao jake is terrier to fight anyone his own weight Gonna be a tad awkward when he thinks he can go for titles yet can't hit the weight requirements

I think Jake looked bad in his last fight against woodley because he had basically no time to train or prepare for woodley. Jake was preparing for a completely different fighter than woodley. Tommy Fury is much taller and a much different style than Woodley is, so when Fury dropped out, Jake couldn't prepare for woodley, and basically had no idea what game plan he had to follow. When fury dropped out, there were only two weeks left until the fight, and one of those weeks was all promotion, so Jake only had one week to prepare for woodley, and he still managed to get the knockout. That just shows the potential he has. Also, Jake dealt with more adversity in both of the woodley fights than tommy ever did in his entire career.
Lol. He was losing the fight against a retired wrestler, woodley is literally a lot smaller, shorter, retired, a wrestler, and throws absolutely minimal punchers - none of which is conducive to being a good boxer. Jake Paul was losing the fight until the knockout, he koed a smaller wrestler well done, potential? LOL. The guy has never beat anybody with a boxing fight or a few years boxing training, or his own size. Make excuses all you want, he’s prepared for woodley before, and either way he had all the advantages. As you said, Jake was in fight condition, Woodley was the guy who took it late notice without preparing for a fight and yet was winning the fight. Jake Paul is horrific and would be beaten by countless guys in all of our local amateur boxing gyms, Tommy fury is bad too, but he’s significantly better than Jake Paul. Have a day off.
I agree with alot of that but the thing is jake still had a camp after that first fight and his overall boxing technique worsened, having a last minute opponent doesn't warrant a worse jab, in the first tyron fight jake was mixing it up alot but we barely saw that in the second, I definitely think that the changed opponent had an effect on the gameplan but I don't think it had an effect on his boxing skills, I do think that it was just a bad night, everyone has those, but all in all good point
But he already fought Woodly, it’s not like he’s never fought him. He spent a whole camp on him. Just spend a week to improve on what you did in the last fight
@@abdullahsandokji9077 yeah I honestly agree with you. Everyone has bad nights and it was just not his best night. Id say his best technical performance was in the first woodley fight. I think Jake was nervous in the second fight because he didn’t want to get knocked out by woodley’s right hand, and woodley didn’t want to get knocked out by Jake. Both guys had power so they were both hesitant to throw, and they were both nervous too. Hopefully Jake improves his skill and ability in the next fight which has been confirmed for august 13th
Power - Jake Speed - Tommy Footwork - Tommy Technique - Tommy Both are pretty hittable but Jake has that power, it'd be a good fight to test Tommy's chin. Though still...
I think ppl have to remember that Jake Paul was fully locked down and focused on training for Tommy Fury, so of course the short notice fight that got made against Woodley would've urged for a sudden change in the entire game plan, so it makes sense why he didn't look as good / meet expectations.... Woodley and Tommy Fury are two completely different fighters to train for...
@@chaelsonnen7947 Yeah he would be that’s not my point. Viddal had a very similar fight in his last fight but True Geordie wouldn’t say a bad word about him. And Viddals the one with a lot of experience and amateur background. Tommy hasn’t got that so of course he’s not going to look perfect.

I think you’ve been harsh on Tommy there he’s only had 10 fight any boxer with only 10 fights will look to have a low skill level judge the kid after 20 fights if he still undefeated.
Comparing fights, Jake was sharp with the jab and more active in the first fight. You could tell his mindset was I’ll just eventually land a hook/check hook and put Woodley out. But it didn’t happen. He gassed and won a close decision. But his boxing skills were more apparent. The second go around he traded his jab for the straight to the body. Not necessarily a smart idea but he’s green and wanted to make sure he landed those body shots because they were integral for his gameplan. He boxed more sloppily but he stayed dedicated to the plan and it paid off beautifully. I think this analysis explains why Jake looked more sloppy in the second fight. He was essentially saying I MUST land these straights to the body so he put the jab on the back burner.
I can't even watch more then 3 minutes, what happened to this guy? he flipped up on Joe Weller, became obsessed with KSI, and obsessed with the Paul Brothers now? why does Tommy need to earn a fight against a guy who hasn't even beat a pro fighter yet?
My problem with Tommy Fury is that he wants to be taking seriously, keeps chasing Jake for that fight says he is ducking him when he was the one that pulled out of the fight in the first place. Jake doesn't owe him anything
Yes Geordie your right mate, enjoyed your vids lately u got it down most of the time like a tea. Do think u big up Jake Paul alot but your bang on with Tommy fury. I think Tommy v Jake Paul would be a 50,50.
I think people need to remember Tommy Fury is a novice in boxing, he’s still learning the trade on the job, just like Conor Ben and now like we are seeing with Cambell Hatton, yes big bad John Fury hypes him up like he’s a smaller Tyson but that’s his job he’s the father he’s going to do that naturally. Fair play to Tommy getting in that ring and doing what 99% of others not only would not but could not.
woodley is ass, who tf tries to parry a jab to the body with the lead hand in orthodox. woodley has no footwork, no headmovment, no guard, reacts with really exaggerated parrys everytime, dosent know when hes in range and when hes out, gun shy, pretty much a muay thai stance so his body is so exposed plus the feet are too close togheter, doesent really turn in to any of his shots except the right overhand, doesnt reallu know how to setup shots or faint, blocks shots like an mma figheter (meaning he puts his hand behind his head leaving the body exposed) and he doesnt look to have good cardio. So tell me what he does good? he has decent power and fast hands thats basically it.
Yeah but the clout that tommy fury will get from the fight and not to mention the MONEY he will make, will be the biggest fight in his career where as Jake can go anywhere with his boxing. I think anyone who is a hardcore boxing fan doesnt understand how much any mainstream boxer wants a 'celebrity boxing match' so much.
I wish Tommy hadn't have got that injury last year because then he would have just knocked out Jake already and we wouldnt be having these conversations
Why does Tommy Fury as a pro boxer have to prove himself to fight Jake Paul. Considering Jake’s resume and previous fights + the fact they are in the same weight cat and of similar age, it makes sense. Who else is Jake going to fight after Sonny Williams?
‘Tommys fans are from love island’ And? Jake’s fans are kids from Disney and youtube so what’s the difference? I don’t care for following Tommy on social media. But if he fought Jake, the whole of the UK would be backing him because we all hate Jake (apart from Brown Nose Bryan) and it would be a massive event
I think what Brian is failing to understand is that boxers usually have an amateur career before going pro. Tommy didn't. He keeps talking about how bad his opponents have been but if you keep in mind he's not had an amateur career and all boxers in general start off by fighting bums, he's not doing bad at all. Obviously still a lot of room for improvement
Gonna have to unsubscribe from this you truly do rim Jake’s arse. The guys fought no one who is even considered a boxer so how can you say that fury needs a knockout to be able to be considered. Mate come on see it clearly if Jake wants a proper opponent then tommy is the one.

Therefore, if a former NBA player was able to step in the ring against him, I don't think there's a debate to be had that an actual boxer deserves to face him.
One was the worst striker in UFC history and the other one lost his career because he went from throwing one punch a ufc fight to zero
Ben Askren I don’t give him any credit for, a guy training boxing for a year would beat him. Tyron is gun shy too.
@Sharks
Broken rib for Tommy I think
"Does Tommy Fury DESERVE Jake Paul Fight" isn't that much about the boxing abilities of jake or tommy.
@Sharks but according to the jake paul fans a broken rib is not a serious injury
To top it all off, all of jake's opponents have been 0-0-0 in pro boxing.
so let me ask you this, If jake paul fights tommy and beats him are you going to say that tommy wasn't a real boxer because jake won?
@@swaggerjackish Askren and Woodley also had a few months of proper boxing training. Being good at UFC does NOT make you a good boxer. Different sports and skill sets. His best win is against a 40 year old retired UFC fighter. Admittedly Jake has proved he’s better than people thought at first but don’t act like he’s better than Tommy Fury ffs

I agree the hate is just unecessary
he looks like the same exact fighter to me. crowds his punches, eats multiple right hands for no reason. no head movement, no power, couldnt knockout someone coming straight off of being knocked out by a journeyman.
the only REAL improvement i've seen is that his jab seems to be a lot better, but then again it's easy to jab when there's no shots being thrown in return besides horrible lucky loopy slow punches from some loser with no power, 5% ko ratio in 10 fights vs paid losers with similar records to tommy furys previous opponents.

Agreed. Shows the way the sport of boxing is going.
It’s more the payday jake brings!!
So it's kinda debatable who's actually got the better resume here.

this is why people say jake paul will knock him out. tommy fury IS NOT A REAL BOXER. i don't care how long he's been doing it. he SUCKS. he's defensively irresponsible. he has NO power. he basically goes life and death with loser journeymen, and gets chinned with right hands basically every time they're thrown. the guy he fought before this, jordan grant probably hit him with 15 overhand rights. some midget 145 lb mma fighter did the same. even this guy hits him with the same punch. none of those people had any power. if jake hits him with an overhand right, you've seen what happens to people he hits like that. sure, jake also IS NOT A REAL BOXER, and from what we've seen he SUCKS too, but you put two people at the same skill level, and one has power, and the other never protects himself, it's a recipe for a knockout.

True Geordie talking on fighting is honestly hilarious. Geezer hasn’t got a clue

Brian is very truthful and i love that
Power - Jake
Speed - Tommy
Footwork - Tommy
Technique - Tommy
Both are pretty hittable but Jake has that power, it'd be a good fight to test Tommy's chin.
Jake didn't look good in his first fight with Woodley either. So.
Where was this energy when you reacted to Viddal’s last fight, both fighting low level opponent’s there to lose. At least be consistent
Viddal, would absolutely ruin tommy Fury...
@@benc5512 He won’t say a bad word about him, because he’s only 2 years older than tommy and infinitely better... you can’t knock either of them for beating what’s in front of them. However you can knock tommy for his lack of actual boxing talent. Regardless as to whoever he’s fighting.
@@benc5512 you’re right In saying he doesn’t have the same level of experience because Viddals got something stupid like 50 amateur fights and he lost 8 of them btw. tommy only has 12.. but Tommy’s also only fought absolute bums...
Would love a John kavanagh interview now more than ever bro. Great vids
I think you’ve been harsh on Tommy there he’s only had 10 fight any boxer with only 10 fights will look to have a low skill level judge the kid after 20 fights if he still undefeated.
You are freaking hilarious love your ipod cast!
Lol
keep up the fight content Brian. Would be nice if you could continue preview and review the big UFC cards.
Forget Jake vs Tommy when’s JJ boxing is all I wanna know 😂
Dead fight now
Ksi gets flatlined
The neck joke is the best! Made me laugh out loud bro!
Jake biggest Stan page
You mad he speaking facts tyron woodley would beat every opponent tommy has fought easily
DESERVE? comin like jjake paul has a belt or someting😂🤣
Em wheres the katie Taylor video
Thank you very much. The truth about this fight and fighters
I love that people think who Tommy is fighting is on the same level as Woodley. Haha Woodley would whoop this dude that Tommy fought.
woodley is ass, who tf tries to parry a jab to the body with the lead hand in orthodox. woodley has no footwork, no headmovment, no guard, reacts with really exaggerated parrys everytime, dosent know when hes in range and when hes out, gun shy, pretty much a muay thai stance so his body is so exposed plus the feet are too close togheter, doesent really turn in to any of his shots except the right overhand, doesnt reallu know how to setup shots or faint, blocks shots like an mma figheter (meaning he puts his hand behind his head leaving the body exposed) and he doesnt look to have good cardio. So tell me what he does good? he has decent power and fast hands thats basically it.
bro I fucking love the big john fury intro and clip in the beginning😂
No the question is does JAKE deserve the Tommy fight seeing as how bro hasn’t fought an actual boxer yet LMAO
Jake has all the power in this situation. Just because Tommy has fought some very bad professional boxers means little at the negotiation table
Good post and great commentary 🥊
More fight content please. Mr brain. Once a week would be great 👌😁
‘Tommys fans are from love island’
And? Jake’s fans are kids from Disney and youtube so what’s the difference?
I don’t care for following Tommy on social media. But if he fought Jake, the whole of the UK would be backing him because we all hate Jake (apart from Brown Nose Bryan) and it would be a massive event
“It’s funny seeing people struggle if we’re being honest”
Surprised at this comment from Brian.
*Tommy beats bums* geordie: all of his opponents haven’t won fights
*jake paul beats bums* geordie: …..
Tommy would kill hair round 1
True Geordie doesn’t know anything about real “professional boxing” and undercards fight
Was that guy even a boxer. Like seriously he looked like he's never threw a punch in his life
I think what Brian is failing to understand is that boxers usually have an amateur career before going pro. Tommy didn't. He keeps talking about how bad his opponents have been but if you keep in mind he's not had an amateur career and all boxers in general start off by fighting bums, he's not doing bad at all. Obviously still a lot of room for improvement
Petition for Brian to react to the jake Paul and Eddie Hearn back and forth over the past week
I can’t judge Tommy bc of his opponent…but Jake can be judged for fighting Woodley and Askren🧐
Very nice analysis.
Gonna have to unsubscribe from this you truly do rim Jake’s arse. The guys fought no one who is even considered a boxer so how can you say that fury needs a knockout to be able to be considered. Mate come on see it clearly if Jake wants a proper opponent then tommy is the one.
"nothing against Tommy" sure sure
There's no other logical option. He has to fight a guy with boxing experience who has a name.
This fight makes too much sense.
Jake needs to fight a “real boxer” who has some clout, but is also beatable for someone at Jake’s skill level.
Tommy needs an opportunity to get a big fight to gain more fame and legitimacy.
great video💯💯
Good to see Geordie back in black
