Just because a game is only 3 stages long doesn't make it a bad thing.
Why not use the handgun or machine gun on easier enemies? That way you can get max accuracy.

The Gatling gun was always my favorite part of playing special mode super cheap if you used shotgun I prefer pistol

Bill Burr did say it has a good spread
Shotgun is blast 0.5 splash damage pistol is 1.0 damage machine gun damage is also 0.5 damage but rapid fire
