This teaching was for me. I carried so many negative words from my family and it has affected my whole adult life. Even though I got saved by the Lord, I felt these words were following me. I even have names for them and the sad thing is I believed them and started repeating those words with my own mouth to myself. (I am useless I am suffering, I am poor, I can't do anything good etc). I have always been told I have kids from different men so no man will ever want me (I have a failed marriage)... was hard at first but had to remind myself I am made in Gods image and I am who He says I am!
This teaching opened my eyes to see that words hang around for a lifetime. My father told me that because I had children, no one would ever marry me. Today, I have never married, my children are adults.
