i really appreciate what Juve did in the 80s and 90s , under Trappatoni and Lippi.
But i would really love to see a documentary about juve 2011-12 , how they return to be the best in Italy after the Calciopoli. what Conte did And how he managed that team with the players they purchased, like Pirlo, Vidal, barzagli, bonucci, and the greats Buffon And Del piero, Under the management of another Agneli family member, beating Milan Ibrahimovic. That was rare greatness!
When they win Champions League, the greatest comeback will be complete.

Trapattoni the greatest manager ever. First manager to win all 3 Uefa trophies and the only one to do it with 1 club.
Always had a soft spot for Juventus, from a Glasgow Rangers fan. Remember playing them around 1996 in Champion's league. And I will never forget that tragic night at Heysel. We lost 66 souls in 1971 at Ibrox Park.

I'm from Scotland. Remember Rangers knocking Juventus and Eindhoven from the European Cup? If you are old enough. Considering the disaster in Argentina that year, it was a boost for Scottish football. I saw Rangers knocked out by Cologne in the spring though on tv. At least Forest went on to win.

Watching this for the first time, Juve were a magical team starting in the 70's then into the 80's the one foreign team I loved to watch in the European cup.
This is a great video but know that Juventus had another great spell under Marcelo Lippi in 90s as well !!!! 1996 UEFA Champions League, 1996 UEFA Super Cup, 1996 Intercontinental Cup, 1994/95, 1996/97, 1997/98 Serie A and so forth !!! Oh, I also remember that Trap brought another UEFA Cup for Juventus in 1993 as well !!!

why?
+Aski Notts County has always had a firm relationship with Juve, going back to 1903. Notts County helped them gain an identity in Italian football by giving them the design of their strip. ( The black and white stripes ). They also helped in relation to playing style etc. Ever since then both teams have had a very good relationship. In short Notts County was the early basis of what Juventus turned into. Notts County often go to Juventus to appear in matches to mark anniversaries etc celebrating the relationship they had way back in the early 1900's.

Bellissimo questo documentario fatto da giornalisti inglesi, ed è una grande lezione per tutti quegli italiani che dicono che la Juventus non ha mai contato niente in Europa, nulla di piu sbagliato la Juventus tra il 1977 e il 1985 ha vinto tutte le competizioni possibili, unica al mondo!(Altro che il "tlipete") tra l altro hanno fatto altri 15 documentari su altrettante squadre di club che hanno fatto la storia del calcio moderno e le uniche italiane sono Juventus e Milan.

In many ways Lippi's 1st stint with Juve surpassed Trap's late 70s-80s Juve. In 94-95 and 95-96 Lippi and Juve had to overcome arguably the greatest Milan and Ajax teams of all time to become champions of Italy and champions of Europe. The Juve team in the Ajax final won by the good fortune of penalties however that Juve was a real squad that relied purely on the collective and were full of Italians like Vialli, Ravanelli, (a young) Del Piero, Conte, Di Livio, Ferrara, Toricelli, Peruzzi etc. They didn't have the fortune of two greatest European footballers in their ranks at that time like Trap had with Platini and Boniek (although they might have if Lippi and Juve hadn't prematurely sold Baggio) and this makes their achievement all the greater. What was a disaster for Juve's history was that within a year they would have a star in Zidane, a flying dutchman in Davids and a superb Del Piero-Inzaghi combo in attack......and they lost back to back finals. Juve have never recovered and its been a relentless disaster in Europe ever since

UEFA and the belgian FA must take a big part of the blame for choosing that crumbling shit hole in brussels, and also both of our club's fans should never of been put right next to each other in the same part of the stadium. l know that most juventus fans will never forgive our fans for the tragic day. but i hope that both the 39 and 96 will be united in the clouds one day. @@nikreece6295 I saw the documentary in 2005. I was convinced by the disgust levelled at the Belgian and European authorities. Folk were like " you are going to hold a European Cup Final HERE??". There was crap everywhere discarded by builders that was used as weapons.

Good documentary, but not comprehensive at all. The Champions League was won in +1996, then another great spell under Lippi and Capello in the 2000s, then Italy became world champions, with Juventus having 8 players involved in the final, and then Calciopoli.
Its not about their history just an era
gregory the series looks at a particular team during a particularly strong era, not a comprehensive club history.
