I enjoyed your video so much! I have just gotten into authentic sea glass, and then tumbled sea glass - and I'm going to make a wind chime out of the tumbled glass. Can't wait to get started. Thank you for such a great video.
Wow that's amazing thank you 😊 looks so beautiful and you make it look so easy to make ..gonna have a go next weekend withe my 12 year old granddaughter ❤
Not sure where you were watching but here’s my guess. I glued fishing line on one side of the glass. Let it dry and then turned over and added fishing line to the back sides and glued again. The two lines of fishing line will add extra strength and durability.
what do u do about the glossy glue on the dull sea glass? I tried to sand it a bit (the glue dots), but it's not up to my dumb "perfection" expectations. 😢lol have you had thought on this?
also what string are u using? the only one I found that thin was nylon thread which seemed like it would be AMAZING! but after tons of work I realized it breaks super easy. :(
Hi....maybe you mentioned this and I missed it...but do you find that the glue reactivates in warm weather? I've used the E-6000 before on projects outside, only to have the stones sliding and dropping off once the glue became tacky again in the heat. Maybe its just this hot Texas weather and humidity! But I've never had good luck with glue and outdoor projects. Would make things a lot easier if it did; seeing as how I have to drill the sea glass. Sigh.
Hi! I have made a few of these chimes with the E6000, but my glue is a mess! How did you get that tip you have on your glue? Did it come like that or do you have to buy an attachment?
Tape the top and bottom part of the fishing line down onto a table with masking tape and in the middle too. When you get close to a piece of tape then remove it to add your next piece of glass.
E6000 glue is really strong glue. I have had one mobile outside the whole time which has gone through snow and heat. Still holding strong after almost 2 years. Not one piece has fallen off. I like the E6000 because of the fine tips it comes with and is easy to apply. Gorilla glue may be a bit cumbersome to work with.
I have neighbour’s I have to think about so I spaced the glass further apart so it would not make as much noise. You can always put them closer together for more tinkling.

Hello , how are you? How many pupils in you class .. how many are pass out from 40 years... I wonder if you want to visit London in next year for the report cards and sheild from the school office ... I want to admission 2boys who are from the Dean office in Mont class.. Montessori class academy, I wonder if you still in school.. 1 is Eric, 2 Richard-richi...
my neighbors had so many of these glass windchimes... I finally started playing super loud music whenever the wind came up They called cops, I explained to cops how annoying the banging pieces of glass are and turned down the music so the cop could listen......neighbor was told to remove them and never hang them outside again. YAYYY love the cops here Warning. do not hang these outside where people who are not on your property are forced to listen to them. These are pretty indoors, but outside some of us like to listen to birds.
This glass wind chime I made is very quiet. If you place the glass not to close together it produces a very quiet chime. The neighbours would not be able to hear it. Maybe on a really windy day and we don’t get too many windy days here. It also gives some beautiful colour in the garden. But I have heard some wind chimes that do produce a lot of sound. I remember my mom having a glass wind chime with rectangle pieces of glass and it did produce a lot of sound. So I get it.
Very cool. I could stay up all night watching these artsy videos. Thank you!
Glad you like them!
I always loved wind chimes- they came out beautiful!! 😄🤗💖🌹
Thanks so much Dora!

Like this idea. The variety of colors is especially artistic. PAM
Thanks Pam. Glad you liked the colours. I am a fine of turquoise teal colours.
Thank you so much for the tutorial’ beautiful
You are very welcome!
Great video - one question - why did you glue two sides of the sea glass on the 2nd part of the video - thanks
Not sure where you were watching but here’s my guess. I glued fishing line on one side of the glass. Let it dry and then turned over and added fishing line to the back sides and glued again. The two lines of fishing line will add extra strength and durability.
Very pretty!
Thank you! 😊
So pretty how long does that glue hold with exposure to the elements?
It has been outside for almost 2 years through sun, wind and snow and still holding strong. Not one piece has fallen off.
what do u do about the glossy glue on the dull sea glass? I tried to sand it a bit (the glue dots), but it's not up to my dumb "perfection" expectations. 😢lol
have you had thought on this?
Use less glue but don’t be so hard on yourself. From further away you won’t even see it.
also what string are u using? the only one I found that thin was nylon thread which seemed like it would be AMAZING! but after tons of work I realized it breaks super easy. :(
I used hemp cord on one and fishing line on the other.

Not at all. They are still holding strong. Not one has fallen off. But where I live it doesn’t usually go above 30 degrees Celsius.
Super nice
Glad you liked them!
Lovely! 😍
Thank you!
Hii, did they lose their color even after you sprayed them?
No, it enhances the colour.
Hi! I have made a few of these chimes with the E6000, but my glue is a mess! How did you get that tip you have on your glue? Did it come like that or do you have to buy an attachment?
Yes the package of E6000 came with the applicator tips.

My fishing line isn’t straight and keep on moving when trying to glue. Any tips
Tape the top and bottom part of the fishing line down onto a table with masking tape and in the middle too. When you get close to a piece of tape then remove it to add your next piece of glass.
How is that glue holding those glass pieces on there so well? Is it as strong as gorilla glue? Could I use that?

I like the E6000 because of the fine tips it comes with and is easy to apply. Gorilla glue may be a bit cumbersome to work with.
I was wondering what kind of glue you're using
I used E6000 jewelry and bead glue.
Thank you so much your wind chimes are absolutely beautiful
Thanks and thanks for watching!
its pretty but no clinking?
