Why wasn’t he arrested for criminal trespass? He refused to leave the property after receiving multiple direct orders to do so.
The parking lot is also private property. At no point was ever in public during this video.

Also 'soliciting a trespass' is not what any of them think it is.
If an officer 'solicited a trespass', it would be the literal opposite of asking a person should be removed.
In order to 'solicit', you are arguing in favor of an act known to be prohibited. Soliciting a trespass would be the police officer saying 'oh, that no trespassing sign isn't legal, just go ahead on in there'. That would be soliciting, or encouraging or promoting a criminal act to a person who is aware the act is illegal.
Like 'soliciting for prostitution' isn't telling someone to stay away from the women on the street corner, but rather when you are asked to perform an illegal act that you know is illegal, 'soliciting a trespass' is not what they think.

But I did look at the Alabama cop watch law earlier and it specifies PUBLIC property: "The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, which includes Alabama, has held that there is a First Amendment right to record matters of public interest, including the conduct of police occurring on public property.
