Few frontmen from the 60's and 70's have been able to maintain a stellar voice like Paul Rodgers. Free vintage late 60's and early 70's, followedby Bad Company. He also put Free back together to try and help his original guitarist regarding his out of control drug addiction. He's Al's a very classy person.

The Single Greatest Rock Vocalist: Paul Rogers.
Even his contemporaries bow down to the sensei.
Ronnie Van Zant (RIP) was not only inspired by but also greatly respected Paul Rogers above all extant singers in the era.
Don’t believe me? Go see this man in person. In any era. Paul Rogers never disappoints his fans. Ever.
He breaks his balls at all times.

is it Mick ralphs on lead or the lookalike that toured with later Simon Kirke's lineup? I only ask because I saw BadCo w/o Ralphs and Paul Rodgers and the lead guitarist really resembled the Ralpher but it wasn't him. On;y original member on that tour was Simon Kirke who greased the name for years with different lineups. Still put out some good stuff but nothing like the original lineup. RIP Boz Burrell

My first glance was "He looks like James Honeyman-Scott", but I know that couldn't be.
A friend of mine was the guitar tech for Mick Ralphs during the Robert Hart era, so I've still got a few picks and a pair of Simon's drumsticks around here somewhere. We got about five minutes with Mick, gave him a shirt for the company for whom I was working (Apogee Software), hoping it would show up on stage at some point. I never did see them with PR, but Robert Hart was a wonderful replacement who gave a wonderful performance with Mick, Simon, and Rick Wills. I did endure a few performances with the Brian Howe era, and, well ... wasn't my cup of tea at all.
